It is a bit difficult to compare after conversion. Blame gov policy on why residents of M'sia are getting the short stick. Just imagine dollar to dollar conversion...120K...I'll riding in a Porshe Boxster with that kind of dough. Add another 40K - 60K BMW M3. 
The Mazda 3 is a seriously good car. Those wishing to part with thier money should seriously be considering it. In terms of rationality for buying this car, it is hard to get anything that will beat its value for money. The civic is so outclassed compared to this. Though the UK civic Hatch is very tempting....But then again since when has buying a car been about rationality....?

HOly crap! That area is cold! I drove to falls creek not too long ago. Man that was a long drive. Made the journey a lot shorter with the XR5. I'm guessing your ride is some sort of nissan? I won't really know. Need to clearer pic...

If u are > 50years old u may think Camry look better. If you are 20-30years old youngster, Mazda3 will look better than camry.

on top of that, if u really want to compare like that, it is best to compare Mazda6 2.5L, which look even sportier and better than mazda3.

that is still only <15% more than ur budget. If u are getting a M6 2.0, u might as well sticking back to M3 2.0, although it is slightly smaller in size, but not A LOT smaller but there is a huge diff in features.

We are talking about Malaysia Market and is Stock version from Manufacturer for local market. It is about comparing Stock Ver. Toyota Camry Malaysia vs Stock Ver. Mazda3.

yea.. i agree with billy. if get the mazda 6 2.0..better get the mazda3 2.0. the mazda 6 2.0 is a huge disappointment after u sit inside..

in terms of what? performance?
yes performance wise.. mazdaspeed 3 is better..
but i still like TT outlook..
the feeling is like comparing GTR35 vs Ferrari.

so now how many ppl here tat bought the mazda 3 oredi ??
