Breathtaking! Excellent capture smile.gif

I wonder how did you manage to grab the rich blues in your picture? Did you alter the color temperature?
*
thx guys for the compliments. FYI, there was no editing what so ever been done to the snap.It was the original snap.

here is the exiff data for the snap

Exposure: 0.033 sec (1/30)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 11 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off
White Balance: Tungsten

the story behind the snap was, I'm on my way going to the bus stand in front of the KLCC, after a day of street shooting. Once i walked out front the KLCC, I looked up and damn, the view of the 2 building and the lighting was so magnificent. I stopped, get my A700 and uwa and shoot!

how i get the rich blue? While i'm inside KLCC, i set my WB to tungsten and when i walked out from KLCC, i forgot to changed it...I just snap
! but...it came out beautifully!

ya, just check some one sell price, its maintain  smile.gif btw, anyone wish to sell the flash, pls pm me  smile.gif

and one question, i notice no matter how i snap the photo with my a300 with kit lens or km 50mm, at 100% view, the picture become rough (rough + blur); this is due to skill of shooting or the camare and lens limit itself? if due to skill, how i can shoot a photo with 100% view but still super sharp? thank in advance!  notworthy.gif

I hope you're not pixel peeping. If you blow up a pic too much, it WILL pixelate no matter what cam you use.

How about you give us a sample shot and we can see what the problem is.

pixel peeping? are you mean over zooming a picture >100%? i am currently to setup the pic, later will know the result. coating the car mirror. later will drop some water on it and snap the photo. my previous shot in this scenario shows me the pic is not sharp when see at 100%, so, major of my picture can be perform 100% crop sweat.gif

will post soon...

most, if not all cameras will not give a 100% sharp image for certain, that is due to an anti aliasing filter (digital/physical) to reduce/remove aliasing artifacts in an image, a good anti aliasing filter will show least amount of softening of an image, but does not remove all softening.. so in another words, even the highest end digital camera will give you the same result if u zoom way in at 100%

jimlim007: I would strongly not recommend that Bower flash. It appears to be a rebadge of the Vivitar DF400MZ... which I saw at a TT just the other day. It hanged when one guy showed it to me! He says it hanged the other time when he wanted to use it for a job. Anyway, the price is too high for a risky flash - better to get a Sony F36 (cheapest) or F42.

how come the Bower flash's body looks somewhat like Falcon Eyes flash??

please tell me that Falcon Eyes are more reliable than Bower flashes... or any comments from someone who's using it now or before...

I'm choosing Falcon Eyes DPT386-AFZ from the HVL-F42AM coz of the swiveling head... was that the right move??

haven't bought yet... but any advices?? before I do buy it??

Braynumb, the Falcon Eyes DPT386-AFZ is the same thing as the Vivitar DF400MZ and the Bower flash.

The F36 is the only flash that cannot turn left and right. The F42 can turn left and right like a human head does when looking left and right. The F58 tilts sideways like a human does when reading a sideways emoticon.
