QUOTE(albnok @ Jun 6 2009, 11:13 PM) Seng_Kiat, the A300 single kit recommended retail price was RM2499 when it first launched. Now its RRP is RM1999. thx bro. then will look for f42, does the price shoot up or still maintain at rm750 range... fansoption, there's a clone of the Sony remote cable: http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2009-06D...0-a700-a900.htm jimlim007: I would strongly not recommend that Bower flash. It appears to be a rebadge of the Vivitar DF400MZ... which I saw at a TT just the other day. It hanged when one guy showed it to me! He says it hanged the other time when he wanted to use it for a job. Anyway, the price is too high for a risky flash - better to get a Sony F36 (cheapest) or F42. |

QUOTE(albnok @ Jun 7 2009, 04:24 PM) ya, just check some one sell price, its maintain and one question, i notice no matter how i snap the photo with my a300 with kit lens or km 50mm, at 100% view, the picture become rough (rough + blur); this is due to skill of shooting or the camare and lens limit itself? if due to skill, how i can shoot a photo with 100% view but still super sharp? thank in advance! QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jun 8 2009, 08:17 AM) sounds to me like handshake or noise.... ok.try shooting with lowest iso and a tripod...if ur picture is still noisy and blur then something is wrong... Added on June 8, 2009, 11:30 am QUOTE(shootkk @ Jun 8 2009, 10:18 AM) I hope you're not pixel peeping. If you blow up a pic too much, it WILL pixelate no matter what cam you use. pixel peeping? are you mean over zooming a picture >100%? i am currently to setup the pic, later will know the result. coating the car mirror. later will drop some water on it and snap the photo. my previous shot in this scenario shows me the pic is not sharp when see at 100%, so, major of my picture can be perform 100% crop How about you give us a sample shot and we can see what the problem is. will post soon... done on the experiment, look like the sharpness was improve so much by using tripod and timer 2sec. with small or big aperture, it not much impact on aperture.
i am starting suspect that may due to OOF or shaking hand caused this sharpness issue in 100% crop. wonder how are you guy shooting photo that can have 100% sharpness when in 100% crop please help to verify the pictures, does these photos look in 100% view have the so call good sharpness? TQ!!! one best fit view picture & one 100% cropped picture Added on June 8, 2009, 4:55 pm QUOTE(shootkk @ Jun 8 2009, 04:21 PM) ehh, want sell your f42 This post has been edited by jimlim007: Jun 8 2009, 04:56 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(shootkk @ Jun 8 2009, 05:10 PM) jimlim007 : Wah! If I sell my F42 how will I poison other people to have 2 flashes? Sorry bro, my F42 is not for sale. like that need to shoot on other thing As for your pic, no wonder lar you say not sharp! If that's the place where you focussed on, then the camera also confused on where to place the focus point exactly. There's the heater lines all across the glass and there, the card behind the glass and water droplets on it's surface and it's translucent... all make for very confusing focussing. Contrast also low so it's no surprise your pic did not come out as sharp as it could be. I'm sure if you could find more contrasty focus points, your pic will be just fine. |

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jun 8 2009, 06:15 PM) ur pics looks ok to me. already in focus priority, using kitlens and km 50mm. in future will the the photo and straight inspect the picture sharpness instantly. and try to improve on the skill to get 100% sharp pic Set ur camera to focus priority mode so that it will only allow you to shoot after focus has been locked. As long as its in focused and u did not move much, the pic shud be sharp adi...try shooting at higher shutter speed. whatlens are u using? 18-70? try shooting at least 1/60 at 18mm f/3.5 |

hey all, one question on white balance. after shooting many of photo, starting playing around with WB, i founf that picture output from AWB is not really like what my eye see in the view. feel the color more to yellow. but putting at 4500k, the skies is more blue and color look a bit "fantasy'... actually what is the WB suitaible when outside shooting ppl, landscape?
