Hi you sure it is NOT INCLUDED WIFI usage? Mine up to 8GB last month. I was shock as well, i connected to WIFI most of the time, at home, at office.

Fortunately, i just received this month phone bills from Maxis, it shows i only utilised 120MB only.

I have been using the iValue plan 100 (500 MB data plan) and iValue plan 155 (1GB data plan - got two plans under me) for the last 2 months.

First month bill not a problem. However on the second month when I received the bill I got a shock of my life that they charge me RM250 extra for my iValue Plan 100.

You see, we have been very careful when it comes to using our datas - to not exceed them always checking on the settings > general > usage on the iPhone.

My last month usage for the plans were 420 MB (for iValue 100) and 320 MB (for iValue 155) - from checking the iPhone usage BUT when the bill came - my iValue 100 was 580 MB however my iValue 155 was correct at 320 MB.
I have to pay an additional RM250 for the 80MB!

My question is that if there was a variance between the iPhone usage indicator and Maxis billing, it should be +/- maybe 50 MB but the variance is a whopping 160MB!!!

I complained to Maxis and one of the staff couldn't understand what I was talking about and just say that it was cheap already. Wah, damn irritating man when talking to her - seems like it was the time of the month. Slammed the phone down and called another staff - This one wrote in a complain for me.

Have anyone of you face this problems as well? Is there a big difference from your iPhone usage indicator compared to your bill? Feedback appreciated.

So this more or less confirms that the usage shows over the air cellular data transfers and does not include WIFI.

I thought theres unlimited usage , where you  just have to pay a certain amount a month

easy la... use the ivalue plan's sim card put in old version phone such as 3310 so that u wont use the 3G and use to make phone call and sms only.... thn use hotlink sim card put into the iphone so u can control the usage.... ^^

how bout 3G/ Edge rate ah? i just use it for maps, routing,gps.. suddeny it sucks all my credit. is dat really expensive? one more question, does maxis hv unlimited usage?

You can turn off 3G but not EDGE..unless its a jailbreak one, I guess

I don't think there's one with unlimited usage, they give u a limit and if you overuse u have to pay the extra

there is a unlimited usage for rm99... u have to sign d ivalue plan top up with tis rm99 unlimited plan 

They only give you 500 MB for that one. You have to pay the extra

Agreed with kokocrun..I am on iValue 100 plus RM99 for Unlimited Data Plan. Yup,double check my bill and there is no other charges reflected for data...though I was hit by a whopping 2,000 MB data usage charge on the 2nd day...
