I using idatausage to monitor my data, but the apps and iPhone usage show different information, apps show less data usage compare to idatausage. Confuse confuse. Anyone encounter this problem?

This happened to another user here. Search back a few pages however this is more of a glitch as I recall it did not appear in his bill.

I know iphone is connect to the data service any time anywhere. Even if you close the safari.
But how can the data service turn it off to avoid high bill?
Is that using this method or other app can works on it?
Settings > General > Network > Cellular data off.

u dont even receive any mms if someone mms u

jus compared the data logged on the phone and maxis bill, quite accurate i would say. only off by 1-2mb.

I monitor my data, since 24th Sept until now I think less than 200mb

How do we check our data usage with maxis?I do remember someone post here before with code *100*#!?but I can't found it.zzzzz

it is not *100*#, but is *100#

Another way is you can download Dataman or Data Usage apps to monitor too.

Data Usage is an apps, you need to download it from iTunes for USD 0.99 only (limited time if not mistaken). You can monitor your current usage and how much data left before your billing date.

if from *100#, go to 7. My Account --> 1. Billing info --> then option 1. or 2. depends on you. Just do trial and error, it won't cost you a penny.

any comments on data usage accuracy? the *100# doesnt work, cannot check data. if u using mobile internet can, but i cant find a way to check if using ivalue

data usage so far so good bro, we can check how much we have use and also how much remaining depending on one's monthly quota (eg. 1 GB, 2 GB, etc.)

from *100# i think we can just check the unbilled amount only, other than that can't really help. That's why have to get Data Usage (by the way, it is in the top list of the utilities apps) brows.gif
