with normal surfing forum , facebook , msn ......will it exceed 1G per month actually???

with 30 day almost 5 hour per day of MSN / Facebook / surf forum also never reach 1G? =.="

got pc....just my working place don have wifi....lol....

why maxis look very terrible for their data usage charge =.="

so mean just turn cellular data off....then it won't charge our data usage even we drop the wifi ??

or on the other words....off cellular data = cut off Internet usage ? (except wifi)

i thought the 1st 5 month we only have to pay RM60 because we had already pay the prepayment RM200 ??

How do we check our data usage with maxis?I do remember someone post here before with code *100*#!?but I can't found it.zzzzz

u have 1GB .....divide by 30day = u almost got 30mb per day to use.....


if u are on facebook + keep viewing Picture.....it easily can reach 30mb per day.....if surfing forum with load picture...it will eat up ur data quite fast also.......but if surfing lowyat forum / MSN / Yahoo mail....then u hard to reach 30mb per day

i always on my notification push on facebook , ping chat ......it won't eat up ur data very much de.....

Download / upload = data use more

i using le 10++ day with email / facebook / lowyat forum , not even 100mb yet =.=".....

Free mms 40 MMS <--- same with sms

call rate 12 sen/min <-- after u finish ur 667min
sms 10 sen/SMS to any network


667 x 0.15 sen = RM100.05 / another RM55 = ur data + sms + mms
data/sms/mms is not included the UNBILL amount , the unbill amount is only ur CALL time , which mean ur UNBILL amount can't exceed RM100 when u check with *100# or www.maxis.com.my , it will be RM55 + ur unbill amount = Total of the bill u need to pay on the month


For ivalue1 RM100/month , ur limit for unbill amount is RM50 only NOT RM100 , if over mean ur bill will come with DATA charge = RM50 + unbill amount



p/s: correct if i'm wrong k , because i get this information from MEP stuff , i already follow this method for 2 month , so far it very accurate......never exceed my bill

i just received my bill , never overcharge also , paying RM104 also this month , after minus prepayment RM40 = RM64

same as my girlfriend , she using 850mb this month , SMS to other telcom / CALL never exceed , RM108 , minus RM40 = RM68

this is my 3rd bill , nothing wrong with maxis i think , maybe it's ur own fault ?? and my iphone never jail break , so i dunno about jailbreak user =( , because some one claim that there is some application consume alot of ur DATA in the background of jail break phone without NOTICE u at the Setting>General>Usage

it bug i think , i kena 2gb before , then i just reset it lol..

actually if u know how to track ur Data usage , it wont give u a shock bill , 4 of my family include me under ivalue1 never get shockbill within this 4 month

for the 1st month , control urself not using more than 30mb per day , because the 1GB data plan is not given with full month cycle , maybe u register ur iphone on 24/1/2011 , it will be 28/1/2011 for billing date , so for the 1st month it should be

[1GB/31day] x 5 day(from 24~28) = 161MB , once u over 161mb , then u will be charge , hence u get shock bill....

so u better call up 123 to double confirm WHEN is ur Billing date , u can change the story =)



if let say u know ur billing date is every month of 28th , so just reset ur data on 29th , and use it safely until the next month of 28th

normally will get shockbill on the 1st month because alot of user dunno the BILLING date , so they over use the data and get charge higer
