anyway.. maybe out of topic but its kinda related.. i found out that when im using the iOS 4.1 my phone battery drains soooo much faster.. (before sleep still got 50 percent.. wake up.. phone dead already.. wake up at 7 a.m.. haha) it acts like doing something while im sleeping.. luckily i turned off the data connection since im using wifi at home..
Now i going back to 4.0 and the battery issues gone already.. i wont discuss how u can rollback the iOS.. hehe

QUOTE(slycoop @ Oct 4 2010, 11:15 PM) notice there's alot of talk about "Cellular Data". I notice i cant view mms pictures when i turn it off. Either Maxis will send me and sms to tell me to go to their site, log in to view it OR the mms doesn't go thru. Having heard about cellular data leakage (while its on), should i just turn it off? (since there are not many mms that come in) just turn it off if ur not using it.. if u wanna mms.. turn on.. sent/receive.. turn back off.. if you want to minimize the data usage on ur phone..

QUOTE(xaw5126 @ Oct 8 2010, 03:58 PM) @boblp which rate are you referring to? the phone price? yeah, Apple controls that pretty well. IINM, Apple even has a say as to the iPhone plans by each carrier ... Digi n & Maxis for now. I'm not sure why Maxis decided to have overage charges... but even after lots of complaining n yelling from customers, they are keeping it. Digi took a big chance and allows its iPhone customers 700kbps until the quota (1gb / 2gb / 3gb) and throttles to 128kbps after that. Celcom... to be honest, since Celcom isn't an iPhone partner... no idea what they'll do. owh.. what i meant was the data charges..

read through most of the post here.. i found out that most of em' are maxis users.. not stating that its the worst telco.. but if u look back all the post.. maxis users dominate the complaints here..
must be something wrong.. either the telco or the user..

QUOTE(c_khon82 @ Oct 29 2010, 05:25 PM) Can I say that if I'm just going to FB browse friend photo, MSN, check mail and didnt go for any streaming or youtube I can never finish my 500Mb quota??? yup.. most probably u should not exceed the limit.. but if ur a heavy user where u dont want to limit the possibilities of a smartphone.. subscribe data plan Smart plan for DIGI is good.. only RM68 and you can surf till u want to puke
