data will not be capped..the RM250 is the maximum extra payment chargeable if u exceed the data usage set by Maxis in ur contract.
Eg. if u overused RM100 worth of data..u will be charged RM100 only. However if u overused RM1000 worth of data...u only need to pay RM250

data got NO capped, same goes DIGI. however digi willing to give discount at RM149 no matter u hits up to rm1k bill.

digi simply gives u unlimited data usage as an option dy..who would not take up the plan and need to pay for extra while others enjoy it 4 free at the cost of getting the data speed throttled

my house got a broadband connection, most of the time i just use that to surf the net, so never think about getting data plan.

So RM250 only? I haven't actually got my e-bill yet but just now I called and they told me unbilled ammount is 1k. So will it be reduced to 250?

dont worry, after updating iOS 4 u can switch off the data on UN-JB iPhone.. hehe

I believe the amount u need to pay is the principal amount ( which is stated in ur plan ) + the excessive charge on ur data which is likely to be RM250

u still need to pay ur telco the monthly commitment fees and some data charge for apps tat r not working with 3G unrestrictor?

Do u even know wat is 3G unrestrictor? when u dl apps from appstore using 3G, u cant dl apps over 20MB(not sure about this size). U can only dl it using WiFi or iTunes in ur computer.

3G unrestrictor just remove the "restriction" letting u to dl the apps using 3G network. nothing to do with ur data. if u are using ur 3G to dl, it charge as u use if u are not on unlimited plan.

Change to Celcom? RM68/month... Unlimited 3G usage... Cap till 5G, but will slow down your system if you reaches 5G.

received my maxis bill this morning. my data counter showed my data usage nearly 500mb...but the bill show that i only use 400mb...hmmm...maxis shud give us data counter utility...last time i called, the operator said they dont provide the service

maxis today sms me and said you have reached/exceed 400MB of your 500MB data plan ... WOW this is good =)
