?????????? i don't think you get me, yes no one is forcing me to sign up, but if i can't off the 3g/edge, what other clever suggestion you have? don't sign up and pay RM100 for 10mb usage?

just called them.. only if you get the iphone value plan from maxis only can subscribe the 250mb 30bux thingy.. i got my iphone from my bro so i can't subscribe that one...

i dun need unlimited plan. why pay more? 

chrome shelled regios..if i wan to switch to digi i've done so since i got very nice number for digi. but since all my friends are using maxis. no choice

where is your locations? i plan to swith to Digi Smartplan, i am having the same concern, please share with us ur experience if you could.

I want to ask when in the month maxis will reset my data usage and recount? i need to know when to reset my usage statistic so that it will be synced with my maxis acc. Is it the date on current bill?

Got story to share..I am iValue 1 maxis user..my bill date was on 24th every month..this is what happen..I check my bills on 23th night via *100#

23/4 : RM63.++ (forgot to save the image demmm~  )
24/4 : RM 249.++ 

my credit limit is rm150!!

my data usage in iphone showed only 249mb received + sent 
I didn't JB my phone and I dont think the data counter should be in so much difference..
I was on Wi-Fi on my working days..ony night use it for FB and surf..

Called maxis CS and she said cannot view my bills yet because today is weekend.can only view it this monday..OMG..
have to wait this monday and see how is it going.. 

this is very true, i work in the KL, where i know my office is within DiGi's 3G coverage, my office is quite near to Puduraya. but it is very hard to get 3G when im in the office, it keeps dropping back to edge. but as soon as i exit the building, the 3G sticks. imho, digi have to do something abt this, though their data plan is one of the best in the market, the coverage is another story.

Hi guys...I'm a Maxis iValue 100 subscriber and my contract will end this weekend and I'm happy enough to jump ship to DIGI when the time arrived. I'm desperately need to jump because for the past year I'd paid the RM100++ for nothing but some RM20++ worth of phone calls because there is no 3G coverage at my house / residential area. (I'm not from kampung tho but I stay in Taman Sri Nibong which is a stone throw away from QBM which is the biggest shopping mall in Penang!!! The situation never change even after complaints).

So I try to find a suitable plan for my future iphone usage; as u know I'll only spend around 20++ only on phone call every month so I can easily get any prepaid other than Maxis which after some surfing around the net I decided that digi prepaid will be the best choice. I bought a prepaid to try out the 3g coverage and it's good and  quite wide coverage with only the cons is the speed can't match the maxis one. I don't mind at all coz what I need is coverage not speed. The digi even come in RM5 maximum per day charge on data usage which is sweet coz I can even do a tether on my pc when the ever unreliable  P1 Wimax (which is next on my list to get rid of!!!) failed.

After 3 days of testing my nightmare begins : you know why?
Because I got charge RM5 for the last 3 days and only the 1st day I really use the data that much and after some finding I discovered that it's not Digi's fault....it's because iPhone will consume data even in standby mode when you are not launching any apps...as you may know the mail and safari apps are not kill able. In 5 to 6 hours time it's enough to consume 500KB which had let to RM5 charges on the data...and that means by doing nothing you'll have o pay RM 150 for a prepaid plan which don't even include the voice call!!! I'd try to turn off the data and even try to plug in the power (then the wifi will always ON) but it will still consume data on the iphone. The turn off data work out to be the best bet but by turning off the data you lost all the Push capability which will render your iPhone useless anyway...

Does it meant if you want to use iPhone you have to subscribe to those expensive data plan even in reality you don't even wanna use them that much coz wifi is ubiquitous nowadays. I'm puzzled and confused now coz there is no telco offering you mid range data plan in any kind of form. It's either 100KB or 3GB for u!
Hope that somebody with greater knowledge can give me some advice.

my phone bill (celcom) - for data plan - charge me RM85++ for the usage. i did not subscribe to anything.

worst part is, did call the celcom CS. ask them to block it or disable. they said cant. the funniest reason they told that im using maxis line (mine is 012 but port over to celcom for the past 1 year). they keep on said cannot disable (i didnt tell them im using iphone). haiii...

look like i need to subscribe to data plan unlimited RM68 from celcom. haiii...

Went to celcom branch on yesterday morning. fill-in the form and sign it. told by the counter customer service - the line with be activated with 24 hours.

So follow-up call at almost 5pm yesterday. called 1111 line, told by operator that they having a high volume incoming call. so finally speak to the CS. the CS ask me to speak louder, turn the volume up. i already turn to 9/10 volume and speak loud. finally, check the status. to my amazed, she told me, the activate of 24 hours, is following working hours.

meaning working hours = 8 hours. so need to wait 3 days for it. i was shocked when hearing it.

later in the night, call CS again. told the data plan already activated. can start using now.

soooooo disappoint with their customer service.

same case like me..they cannot disable the 3g data...how come they(service provider) cannot block/terminate/cut the 3G date?
n also they cannot check the usage as i m also encounter the leak date..
already turn off everything but my billing is increasing..when ask about when n  how much im using the 3g data.. the rep said wait for the bill.

make sure u guys not connected to the low signal wifi when doing safari.
just happen on my friend.  playing facebook and check on some photo in
a low signal cafe.  the wifi connection D/C from the cafe and iphone connected to maxis 3G automatically. .

monthly bill just arrived and cost him $380. 

i am still finding a way to stop the gprs/3G connection for my wife iphone3gs.
iphonenodata is not working on the latest.  is that JB the only way to stop the Data ?

data got NO capped, same goes DIGI. however digi willing to give discount at RM149 no matter u hits up to rm1k bill.

my house got a broadband connection, most of the time i just use that to surf the net, so never think about getting data plan.

So RM250 only? I haven't actually got my e-bill yet but just now I called and they told me unbilled ammount is 1k. So will it be reduced to 250?

Peeps. I have a quick question here.
May I ask. If I'm using 3g unrestrictor. Will my data usage in cellular network data increases? And will I get charge for that? Appreciate anyone who reply fast and informative.

why say so? Do u know how 3g unrestrictor works? And why would I still be charge?
