From what I heard SPL-12 is a class above CHT-15R can dig very low wan! He! He! If u wan to up-grade then go for the Velo DD class. Or go for SVS PB ultra 13!

SPL-12ultra is very niceeeee

The CHT-15R isn't a power house compare to SPL-1200R. The probable advantage of CHT15R could be a tad fuller bass due to its size.

When my SVS is here, I will definitely post it up for you all. I bet it would bring me a whole new experience since it go dig real low. Jwyj, you are welcome (no antidote)

Hi, since you've got it at an unusually good price, no worries, still a very good sub, my fren have 1 and I think it's really good performer, of course there are better around, but for the price, I would not hesitate to buy it :-)

I think all the regulars are just as excited as you to see, touch and listen to your svs. Can invite us all to audition?

Wow! A shoot out! Now that is a very good 'project' to do. But I think SPL & SVS might have similar result with SPL being slightly better with better feature. OMG I am so sexited! PLS PLS do the shoot out quickly.

I belive callmevil did a review between the midrange svs bolster that he owns and a friend's 12" velo spl somewhere in the v1 of this thread. His impression was that svs is the clear winner when it comes to movies while the velo spl have the upper hand for music

I wonder what happened to that dude. Haven't seen him around for quite some time already

I'm also looking for him. Maybe he's have gone overseas? Or lost interests in HT? If he not into HT, I will straight away drive to Brunei and sapu his SVS.

Aiyoh! After reading this review..................I get 'sub flu'! Ok I better contro myself 'kaw kaw' economy not good, business no good so MUST NOT UP-GRADE SUB!!!

But I think very hard to cure 'sub flu' especially for a bass nut like me. Luckily HTLeg live very very far away in KL. If he is my neighbor then I will be poisoned everyday ! Every day 'up-grading'!
