Hey Aiman;

Shipping would be:

PC13-Ultra

Door to door      $430      Bax Quote Number 4778306

Door to airport  $250      Bax Quote Number 4778305

These quotes are for prepaid shipping and a small international handling fee only.  Any taxes, duties, brokerage, administrative, etc. fees are your responsibility. The door to door rate includes the brokerage fees and the door to airport does not. The brokerage fees included in door to door rates may not include all local administrative fees.

You are responsible for finding out about any local required procedures, licenses, registrations or such in advance.  We had one recipient that had to become a registered importer in his country in order to be able to pick up at the airport (a lengthy and expensive process) and because he didn't find out about this requirement in advance, he was not only forced to go through it, but he also had to pay storage fees on the box while waiting for his forms to process.

Unfortunately due to the high level of credit card fraud in Malaysia we only accept bank transfers (TT transfer) for orders this large.  If you want to order let us know how you want it sent and we’ll send you a total and instructions on how to make the payment.  Please also make sure that you let us know if you need the subwoofer in 110v or 220v configuration.

Around RM7700 for the sub, door to airport shipping, 15% + 10% tax and sewa lori/van + driver to pick it up hmm.gif

SVS accepts CC ma. Just got an email from SVS, telling me they are testing the authenticity (spelling correct?) of my credit card.

Apparently not for something as costly as a PC13 Ultra sweat.gif

arj, you are right. That's what I been told too by SVS.

Are you joining us too to bring down our own home?  brows.gif

After PC-12Plus, I think I would try the PC-13Ultra since they told me that my room can take it  icon_idea.gif But, need to save more. Puasa for 12months  sweat.gif
mys_terious, my friend told me that too. But, we need to check whether SVS accepts paypal. That's a good idea  smile.gif

Planning to go straight for the PC13 Ultra but it's still 3-4 months away. It also depends weather I get a BD player or not sweat.gif moneyflies.gif

boss this is door to airport or door to door
*
That looks like a door to door price. If you get the cylinder version which is much lighter, door to door shipping plus tax comes to under RM9k.

I belive callmevil did a review between the midrange svs bolster that he owns and a friend's 12" velo spl somewhere in the v1 of this thread. His impression was that svs is the clear winner when it comes to movies while the velo spl have the upper hand for music nod.gif

I wonder what happened to that dude. Haven't seen him around for quite some time already hmm.gif

Hmm, I got not so good experience with my previous Rel Stadium II box sub, and feel that the cylinder SVS sub gives much better perfromance. Actually I also like the smaller footprint for the bin as well. it's just that the height got into the way when placed in front. Maybe I should audition a SVS box someday to see if it works for me...
*
You could also lay down the cylinder on its side if you don't have the vertical space. I remember reading on AVS that somebody from SVS commented that there shouldn't be any problem laying down the sub on its side biggrin.gif

I had a not so nice experience on my 2nd shipment. The Custom did another evaluation on the shipment since there are some shirts meant for as door gifts inthe shipment.

They actually re-value it higher and impose a dizzying 20% + 10% for the apparel. That's ok for me since I just want my things to be here. So, paid everything.

I did a check on all the items this morning before my trip to KL in the afternoon. Bloody shit........ missing item. While I don't blame Custom, someone must have open the boxes and took a handful of it out.

On second thought, that aint a really bad news too since can get free publicity when they wear it  laugh.gif

Next time I go to the sarang kettam, I'll keep a lookout for people wearing SVS tshirts laugh.gif

Yes, it is meant for the SVS event on 3rd Oct in PJ.

I guees it is better to make a thread for the event. Easier. Or you guys look out for NST's Tech & U section on Mon.

WOW! Haven't been in here for quite some time already. Need to do anything to be eligible to attend the event? biggrin.gif

Swapped my Velo with the SVS and did some quick testing. No tweaking yet. With the Velo, during the Skidoosh scene in Kung Fu Panda, I was like "Mehh... nothing to shout about". With the SVS, it was like "FUYYYOOOHHHH!" thumbup.gif

Plus my dad came rushing into the room and was like "wadafak wuz dat?!?!?" doh.gif laugh.gif

Hi Anfieldude,

I read back your post and u said that putting d Audyssey mic on chair is not the right way and we should put a tripod..

I've been putting the mic on my chair all this while as my AVR didnt come with a tripod... What is the difference between with and without using a tripod?
*
Bro, I don't think there's any AVR that comes bundled with tripod. At least none that I know of laugh.gif

If you know any photography enthusiasts, you can borrow a camera tripod from them. The bottom of my Audyssey mic can be screwed to any of those. Luckily for me there's two such freaks in my family so there's lots of tripods lying around the house laugh.gif
