juz plug it out.... and no need to switch off your console

Guys, can anyone please help me....
When I on my PS3, there is no display on the monitor. I am using HDMI connested to Dell S2409W. I was working b4. I don't think it is YLOD.
I can see the HD activity light blinking when I ON it and when I insert a game disk in it but no Display. The screen will flicker. Any idea ? I did the fan test. Light is green.

anybody face this problem b4 ??? After 2 hours my PS3 auto turn off ,than cant even start again PS3 indicator red light will blinking non-stop,so must turn off by PS3 back off button....SO weird ah pls HELP if somebody can solve it

hi there. sometimes when browsing the net from the browser, my whole ps3 went 'hang' and unresponsive (at certain websites). have to turn of and on again .... is this normal? scared my ps3 spoiled T_T

Do u all hav dis problem after updating to 2.76?mine too have some minor problem.when switch it off n left it idle for a long time,it's hard to switch on again.have to switch off the switch on d back,turn it on again,touch d "on/off" button in front,repeat it several times until it's operate again.after dat all ok.it's not serious problem but it really annoying.i'v read in the net dat 2.76 causes dis n the problem will vary on different PS3.damn sony.hope they will fix it in d next update..

I juz got the much dreaded YLOD i think...
Was playing sf4 online n suddenly my ps3 off itself.
Try to on back the machine, red light... press on, green light - yellow light then flashing red lights...
My sf4 still disc stuck inside... luckily colt508 gave me an advice to get my disc out but the ps3 still dead...
Haih... my ps3 bought november 2007 japan set... no warranty whatsoever...

Any recommendations where is the best place to fix it? IF can fix at all?

i was a victim of the dreaded YLOD a few days ago but the good news is that I actually managed to fix it. the cause of mine is similar to the xbox where high heat causes the gpu or cpu to detach from the mainboard.

my ps3 also got the same problem...i took to bernard but he said..can't be repaired...damn ylod...two problems...disc lense <-- can be repair...power @ board <--- can throw away...like mine

OK, let me try this holiday. My PS3 got YLOD 2 weeks after I spend RM300+ to change lens. Bring back to shop, they don't know how to repair.

my ps3 ylod today while watching movie.. damn sad. straight away call benard. his wife pick up and told me about the motherboard problem. it'll take about 1month cos alot of other ps3 to fix. argh!!!

i sent my ylod'ed ps3 to bernard on april 1st, living for about a month without playing any games. then bernard told me he repaired it, but it went ylod again during the testing. then i waited again till last week when he called dat he cant repair my ps3.... now im thinking what will i do with it.

keep the console 1st
will contact those ylod fixers abroad for futher info....

ya, now waiting for bernard to send it back to me. arghh~

mine self restart when playing dynasty warrior:gundam 2 but when i press the on button back the ps3 work as normal i suspect is the disc got problem not YLOD. althought got a quick yellow light blick once then ... constant red light blinking.. when i turn on back the ps3 it works as normal
