wonder if you guys here that the console after got repaired are still working fine?

... suddenly my console power down itself while trying SOCOM online then the red LED start blinking.... dunno what had happened.... I just let it blink for ~1 hour only then I press the soft power on button until 1 beep sound then only the red light stop blinking... carefully press the soft power on button simultaneously with eject button to retrieved the disc inside. Luckily it manage to eject and able to power up to XMB..., I guarantee this will not stand last... just a matter of time only, it'll die again.....

red blinking means overheat. check if you have any obstructions in the ps3's air vents. I noticed, since now its 'summer' especially in KL, PS3 tends to heat up pretty quickly, only 3 hours of gameplay and the hyper fan kicks in, but I usually dont care, I kept on rockin in Rock Band tho

Yes, quite true on the heatwave, very hot especially in KL. According to the weather metrology news, this heatwave is expected to last till September. Very the panas!

many ppl thought 1st batch 60GB is naise with its hardware compatibility with PS2 and also better built quality, but now is the time where 60GB batch start to show problems

why is it that i found out that 60 GB always cause problem

WOOHOO!!!!....managed to REVIVE my ps3 last nite.almost make my heart blown away when i heard PS3 opening sound again...

but losing wireless function for my controller...d'oh

pasang aircon bro, i just got one for my room yesterday, cannot stand the heat..

ps3 i still x leh repair.....dah hantar kat 3 kedai dah..... problem ialah ylod... 40gb sg..... so i tlah ambil keputusan nak try repair sendiri.... wish me luck
