i'm still thinking whether to wipe out my xp and totally install win7, or just wait till the final product releases. coz if use RC as my main system now definately have to reformat again when the final release.

btw, anyone used VirtualBox by Sun Microsystems before? i used this to test my vm win7 instead of VMware..

One of the reason i changed SC is because of Audigy 2 doesn't work well in Vista. I was doubting how it gona perform in W7. In vista, i have to get the modded driver in order to make the Audigy 2 sounds better.

@dlwl, i've never use VirtualBox before. Does the software stable?

@fylon,Audigy 2 ZS can't support well in Vista?What's the problem you faced? Later i plan to move to Vista too.

seems ok for me, didn't really intensively test it. just set some configs, then installed win7. had some problem with sound and network drivers though. didn't really know how to configure in the vm settings.

modded driver works well for my audigy in vista. just wonder how the w7 will do.

Yea. As kabu said, modded driver is needed in order to make the Audigy 2 sounds better. Well, cant find the official driver @ creative web, so the only way is to get modded driver lo.

Modded driver for sound card?Last time i remembered i used Kx driver for my Sound Blaster Live,the sound is really better than the original one. I will look for modded driver if i feel bored with the creative driver.

yeah, i just got it for my new apartment, tested it also. surfing is really fast. don't know about downloading yet
i got about the same speed when tested with speedtest. kinda a little disappointed can't really get full 4mbps.

It will never run @ full spd bro. Im currently on 2MB line and the average i can get is around 1.5Mb/s only. Oh well.. I only pay RM88 for 2MB line.

mine is at 1.5Mb@RM88. it auto upgraded itself. for torrents and direct downloads, with good IP it can reach max my speed

@ray, monthly fee is RM160. Streamyx-in-a-box combo if i'm not mistaken. mine comes with free wifi modem summore.

Haha.. Mine is i upgrade 2years ago. But in a sudden my spd boost from 512kb to 2mb. I cany max out of 200kb/s for download through FTP/HTTP, but torrent always capped at 150-170kb. Ops.. OT again!
