Anyways, getting this rigs is just purely for my dad to learn some basics about computer thingy and major part is.. It gona be my torrent/download machine.

Fylon - 3.0E @ Stock | Abit IS7-E | Apacer Value Ram 512MB*2 | GeFroce MX4000

The only drool part is the IS7-E.. This rigs is collect from several place. Grab the mobo, ram and proc for RM250. And casing were from edmin.. Went his house last week to loot 100GB of HD movies and his old casing.

The big thing is, im gona DC this guy and see low it can go.

@fylon,added you in the list. The big stuff is really big especially the number. IS7-E is a legendary mobo will good o/c.

Hahaha.. Thats the nice part.. Just with my current parts, dun think can unleash the power of that mobo. Had setup up everything, and try DC from 3.0 to 2.0.. Its seems can be boot up. Temp is 3-4'c drop from 3.0.. Currently no OS, so cant show the CPU-Z. Cause 4got to bring the CD Rom back from office last week. Damn..

DC is nice ya,i did DCed my proc to 2.4GHz before. Still not yet reach until 2.0GHz.I'm doubt with our proc if DC how low can they go? Maybe 1.5GHz ?

Haha.. Going GREEN man.. Power saving and low temp also. Help fighting global warming.. System seems able to boot and get into BIOS with 3.0,but aint how low it can.. Gona try something like FSB100 or FSB80..

@fylon,good idea. What is the main purpose you revive P4?80FSB will be 1.2GHz only... 1.2GHz with HT supports.

Haha.. That gona be 1 of my exotic test again.. After hitting 4Ghz highest, time to go for the lowest spd. Hm.. Main reason? Same as Edmin.. Just diff is he is using P4M but I'm using P4. Downloading purpose.

OT: Got chance must go his house la, see his HT setup.. Nice man.. Going for the 2nd time soon. Wanna loot all his HD collection.

Should i say is less then RM300 lo. Get the casing for RM20 (brother price), ram, mobo and proc RM250. And the rest of the item like PSU, cd rom, hdd all are those item lying around my house & work place. Eheh..

@fylon,go to sapu all his HDD around.Hehe,downloading needs huge space man.Less than RM300 to set up a P4 rig,pretty cheap.

Haha.. No la.. I will retried the data to my DATA CENTER everyday. Dont worry. Just i wanna cut down my main rigs up time as running 4 core at the same time without utilizing the power is a waste.

actually you can easily build 1 when you have some old stuffs like monitor, kb, mouse etc. others you just find some old rig like even p3 or some old athlon/duron will do. if p4 then it will be added bonus. get all in 1 mobo if possible. then can fire up your rig already. i still have axp+mobo lying around collecting dust after my p4 revived. maybe will sell it off.

my Axp2000+ with alpha coller & msi kt2combo & radeon9550 now retiring.

OT:cant wait for gc for my c2d rig. hahaha......

Yea. Got it with "brothe price" from edmin.. On the way path, loot up his HD collection too. Lol.. The system is quite decent lo, especially the mobo.

P/s: GC? GTX295?

haha... yours got more kick than his la. even the mobo that collecting dust is better than mine and ed's.

low profile gc. cant compare with yours and ed's. only 4850.

@kabu,i have a rig old socket 423. now is putting at my hometown as a low profile HTPC rig in living room.

fylon's IS7-E is really worth,before that many people was trying to search for it but can't get any at last.He's very lucky.

How come you have so many old school collections one? Last time you should let me know when i was search a replacement board. End up bought the Asus P4P800-X.
