so far i've read around the web, reviews have been good and mostly positive. seems to be faster and nicer to use compared to vista. but some people also did mentioned that win7 is a gui-improved vista

graphic card giving some headache, overheating frequently. don't know due to hot weather or other things.

you didn't try the win xp mode inside win 7? see if your program works on it

yeah, that's the problem. thought i could jump to win7 and then use win xp mode also, coz i'm afraid that some apps wouldn't work. sadly my proc doesn't support VT. it's kinda funny that it only works on procs with VT, coz i've tried running a few VMs before, no prob running on my proc which doesnt have VT.
