New "flasher" here biggrin.gif

Just flashed to Topix 3.0 from official HTC 1.59 ROM, its a little faster and definitely smoother now, my phone reception is @ 100% now as opposed to 74% from the same area previously, GPS lock is also abit faster, even accessing SD card is faster now...just thought I'd share for those still considering.

Eh, I have trouble with my phone setting. The PDA itself automatically connect data connection for me and that's not a problem for me if I'm in Malaysia as I have unlimited broadband connection.

The problem is, I'm carrying this phone to oversea and the PDA will connect to data connection itself although I have download advanced config or restart my PDA. still the same problem, anyone can help ?

I don't know...since after I started to use unlimited broadband, the PDA will connect itself if I start the PDA.

you have to check if you have set the "weather" and "stock" settings to be "Download data automatically".
or you have set your mail to be downloaded automatically.
Most of the time, these 2 are the reason why it automatically connects to data connection.

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone here installed the USA Invisibleshield on your Touch HD? If so, could you please provide some guidelines or what to look after during the installation process? smile.gif

DON't WORRY ...after being recommended by Baronic on MODACO no DATA...it's work like charm!!!!I've checked every program, nothing requires auto data connection.

Oct 6th...but dont expect the latest version to be used for ROM updates...read some posts in XDA stating that some 6.5 ROM updates are using build 23016...

latest build is 23060/23420 IIRC, but this build still have some bugs to be ironed out...

For those looking for a suitable belt bag that will fit the Touch HD which is not thick, might want to look at the Hama Nav Bag. Tried a few others like Golla and Capdase, just wasnt satisfied. Even though its not meant specifically for the Touch HD but it fits.

Been using this for awhile now and I can say that its just nice for Touch HD, plus the belt clip is such that the phone is sideways so wont really block the jeans pocket. The pix are not the clearest i know, using the Touch HD

Radio: Also referred as GSM (see below) - commonly used in the form `upgrading the Radio/GSM` - in the field of ROM upgrading. The `Radio` is essentially a ROM that controls the phone function part (as oppose to PDA function part) of your phone. Upgrading this `Radio` software may have effect on your phone reception quality, battery life (optimized phone function), signal strength, etc.
