Guys,

Jus wondering, are there different phone profiles for TF3D?
Currently using phonealarm pro as its easier for me to change profiles plus other functions like bluetooth and wifi buttons are there.

Thx smile.gif

Unfortunately, in TF3D, there is no such profiles.
You could easily change the phone to silent/vibrate by pressing the volume down button till min.
or, you could use Mobile Shell as it has profiles.

..............................however, you can assign the hard buttons, except the home button, to do multi tasks per button, using third party programs such as AE Button Plus or H Button. biggrin.gif My Wifi is available at the press of one of the hard buttons.

I did tried the official 1.59.707.0 ROM a couple of weeks earlier, it was better, more responsive, faster than the 1.19 stock ROM that come with Touch HD when i first bought it, but TF3D wise, it's basically the same...

Thx..if its faster maybe worth the hassle to take a trip there

no wonder i cant find it in HTC SEA support site since need to go to service center, really make me wonder why need to go service center for ROM upgrade while it cant be done by the users themselves? because of the "SD card missing" and "USB no longer functioning" issues that have been reported, thus needing a "special" way to flash?  rclxub.gif

I wonder why too, dont think its that difficult to upgrade ourselves

OT:
is HTC Hero available here in SEA? look at the picture attached, if it's available in Malaysia, i feel like testing it...

New "flasher" here biggrin.gif

Just flashed to Topix 3.0 from official HTC 1.59 ROM, its a little faster and definitely smoother now, my phone reception is @ 100% now as opposed to 74% from the same area previously, GPS lock is also abit faster, even accessing SD card is faster now...just thought I'd share for those still considering.

For those looking for a suitable belt bag that will fit the Touch HD which is not thick, might want to look at the Hama Nav Bag. Tried a few others like Golla and Capdase, just wasnt satisfied. Even though its not meant specifically for the Touch HD but it fits.

Been using this for awhile now and I can say that its just nice for Touch HD, plus the belt clip is such that the phone is sideways so wont really block the jeans pocket. The pix are not the clearest i know, using the Touch HD

Have anyone tried the latest Radio 1.17.25.09? I can feel that my device is less heated up now, but the battery drain is some what insane. Before heading to bed it's at 100%, but the moment I woke up it's already at 39% in standby mode.... geez.
*
Never flashed radio b4 so thot of trying but since u said it drains battery pretty fast am thinking twice

hi all,

anyone using Radio ROM : 1.17.25.09 ?

read from Xda, the batt consumption is quite killing, anyone here using that? any feedback??
*
Was using that radio with Topix 3.11...no complains with batt life, now upgraded to Topix 3.12 and messing with some stuff my batt life went down ??? rclxub.gif
I dont think its due to the Rom or radio but more to my itchy fingers laugh.gif

there is too many custom rom on xda. you may have to try and flash to see which suit you most and there is no such thing like who's rom is more stable or best. we all flash our HD more than 20times just to get suitable rom running on our HD.

1st thing to do is BACKUP! and if you are hunger for speed i suggest you stay away WM6.5 which might disappoint you.

there is few rom to be consider

1. Energy's ROM
2. Miri's ROM - 6.1 with Manila 2.5
*
I never tried the abv ROM's, anyone tried Topix 3.12, been using it since it was out, definitely faster than stock 1.59...any comments/recommendations for those that have tried most of the ROMs icon_rolleyes.gif

u're running topix 3.1.2 on yr touch hd rite now? how the performance? im thinking bout flashing it to my HD as soon as i finished dloading the files..how about some short review bout it?
*
Yup, running it on my HD now, like I mentioned, its definitely faster than stock ROM 1.59 (not blazing fast, just abit faster), and a little smoother too, its also very stable for me, I have no probs running most applications, only apps I find not able to run is the star wars light sabre which has no sound and a few other apps which I think we dont really need but fun to have biggrin.gif

I tried winmo6.5 for a few days, didnt quite like it, switched back to 6.1, I think 6.5 is better suited for something more powerful like HD2.

Anyways for those that keep saying that for HD2 RM3k is ok...Im quite sure the distributors are using sites like this as benchmark to set prices :-)
