IMHO, to play avi, TCPMP is the best freeware. For $$ware Core Player is the best.

I would appreciate if any HTC Touch HD owners and users would be able to share some opinions and thoughts in related to HTC Touch HD  Any pros and cons about HTC Touch HD? I am a newbie also, only 2 thing i can share 1. I bought mine at RM2050, a good friend price . I think retail is somewhere ard RM2350.2. WhiteWing maybe able to offer you a good price. PM him ! |

Check a few posts back.. I don't think there would be a free upgrade for HTC Touch HD to WM6.5. Probably an upgrade fees would be imposed but then I'm not too sure how we could actually pay for the upgrade even if we are willing to do so. We would probably have to wait till Oct'09 to know this when Microsoft officially launches the WM6.5. |

but if you are familiar with flashing, would you pay when you can get it for free...of course there will be some bugs in all custom ROMs, but overall i felt it much better than stock ROMs...
HTC is kinda disappointing, even omnia (1st generation) is getting the windows mobile 6.5 upgrade, X1 also rumored to have the upgrade...seriously if it wasnt for xda-developers, i wouldn't have gotten HD in the first place... not planning to change until i can find a device with tegra + windows mobile 7 (if it retains the customization / flexibility of windows mobile, but zune HD UI seem impressive + responsive) / android (from the android 1.6 video, it sure seem to maturing into a good OS) + good resolution and screen size... |

Hey guys! I just got my HTC Touch HD and I'm VERY please with it!
The thing is that... I really hope that the screen would tilt when I'm typing an e-mail or SMS. Does anyone know how to get that done? Another thing is that I remember watching an online HTC phone review where the touch flow's contact list could help show all of an individuals past calls, SMS, e-mail and even sync with it's facebook. Can I get it done with the Touch HD as well? Thanks  |

I rate this phone as one of the best WM phones there is in the market.Speed and performance are mainly contributed by the ROM that is running on the HD. Simply by running cooked ROM (dutty, kwbr, miri, etc..), you will get most out of your HD. Speed isn't a problem with the cooked ROM. I'm personally running on kwbr ROM and loving the speed.
