Which is a better ROM? Topix or Dutty? I heard dutty currently got lags and bugs but topix is very smooth and stable. The question is, is topix running on WM6.5? Cause the current release version is Dutty's Leo R1 Test and Topix 2.9.3 So i duno whether is Topix runing on 6.5
*
I've tried Dutty Leo R2 and it's quite laggy to my liking but with nice graphics & interface.
Currently using Topix 2.9.2 and loving it. Simple words, it's a fast ROM.

Added on September 10, 2009, 9:21 pmIn Nokia phones, if you were to call somebody which is currently on a call, you will be able to hear a beep that indicates to you that the person you are calling is currently on the line with another person..

In Windows Mobile, I don't think there is such indicators.. anybody realized that?

HTCPedia has a new tool for HD setting call HD Settings Tool. Good features. rclxms.gif You need to register with HTCPedia, in order to download the cab, which is easy.

Don't turn on wireless and bluetooth unless using them. Use HD Tweak or Advanced Configuration programs to tweak to conserve battery.

3% 30 minutes? that's about 1000 minutes of battery life time. that's bleeding. But 3% can't tell much as battery % drop is not linear. Wait for like 6 hours then see again.

**********************************************************************************

I'm using Energy ROM WM6.5 M2.5 (9/12), it's quite stable for the taste of M2.5. Some minor bugs but fixable by installing cabs. Overall, it's great stuff! Try it out if you want to have a taste of Manila 2.5, WM6.5, and want to go away from Dutty or Miri. wink.gif

OK.. that means it's an original ROM.
Since you just got the phone yesterday, you will need to use the phone for a couple of days so that you can fully charge the battery to the full potential.
Normally, you will need a few cycle of battery usage before you can obtain the actual potential of the battery..

Greeting everyone,

I got my set last fri and had since cooked my ROM to Topix 2.9.4. I have some questions which i hope all the sifus here can share

1. After I had cooked Topix 2.9.4 into my HD the SPL at bootloader shows 1.54.0000, Do you guys cooks on to use 1.56.xxxx as per the wiki in xda-developer ?

2. The IMEI number in Setting-Identity shown 2 trailing digits (my case is 01), what does that mean if any?

3. To cook the radio we need to have security unlock and from xda-developer site, it was mentioned it will show on the bootloader screen. Did you guys use Oniplex software to do that ?

4. Where can I can get the latest radio version, xda-developer also ? If I am not mistaken the latest radio is 1.16xxx, does it works well with topix ?

Hello,

I am quite interested with the HTC Touch HD and primarily, the design itself attracts me the most wub.gif I have also done some research on the HTC Touch HD in terms of the prices and functionalities.

1. May I know if the market price for a original HTC Touch HD by SiS Distro is around 2,100 - 2,300 ? and the price was slashed from 3,000 recently ?
2. Also, I would appreciate if anyone could recommend any authorised HTC dealers around Cheras, and KL ( good customer service ) ? which also accepts old phone trade in ? I would like to get rid of my old phones and once and for all, move myself into a WM.
3. Do you think it would be worth it if I were to get the HTC Touch HD now ? considering WM6.5 will be out soon and Touch HD only comes with WM6.1 as stock OS ?

Hopefully any Touch HD user would be able to shed some opinions and thoughts smile.gif

1. Read THIS
2.
3. You only need to security unlock if you are using the unofficial Radio 1.16. Radio 1.16 is ported from Sony Ericsson X1 and can brick your device.
4. Latest Official Radio is availableHERE

PS You flash ROM not cook. Cook is when you are designing/programming your own ROM. tongue.gif

Thanks Dr. and i am a "flasher" biggrin.gif not a cook, thanks for the correct term.

I followed the instructions from the same link you provided in (1) that day until step USPL5d. Due to I intended to use Topix 2.9.4, my USPL1d item is Topix 2.9.4 instead of "(USPL1d) A 1.56+ based rom- Dutty's latest rom linked" as in the tutorial. I run the BlackStoneCustomRUU.exe provided with the Topix 2.9.4 and got Topix 2.9.4 flashed into my Touch HD successfully, however my SPL ver is still 1.54.0000 perhaps due to SPL 1.56+ not included in the topix package. So far i am happy with topix however it makes me wonder if I need to continue on to SPL 1.56+, please share with me your thought. Thanks

If you are "flasher" make sure you have something worthy to show off. biggrin.gif
When you USPL the original SPL in your device will not be amended, it will still show the original.

Definitely something women will scream for more !!! -> RM biggrin.gif

Dr, it is stated in USPL3f the process will change to SPL 1.54.0000 and is different from the original which i think is SPL 1.14 something like that....

CODE

(USPL3f) Now you can continue in the HardSPL application and follow it as normal. Basically what you are doing is flashing the stock 1.54.0000 SPL to your phone by overwriting the HardSPL's .NBH file with the stock one.

$ is certainly worthy to flash.

You need not worry about SPL version when you USPL. Your concern is only if you HSPL at lower version and want to flash with a ROM that requires a higher version SPL. USPL each time you want to flash a new ROM and you will not encounter any problem.
