If I have to pay RM 20 monthly on top of a new decoder and new wiring, I'll wait until it's more feasible.

If your cable is good then it should not be a problem. But I heard it is compulsary that the installer must change the cable otherwise no deal for HD.

Again if you cable is bad, then the HD program may end up like pirated vcd

The Astro B.yond HD media launch just ended! The High Defininition service will launch on 18 December with:

Astro SuperSport HD
National Geographic Channel HD
History HD
HBO HD

while ESPN HD will be on air January 2010.

We'll also be the only one to broadcast all World Cup 2010 matches next year!

They should add AXN HD. The travelling channel should also be in high def so I can count the grass blades.

If only Astro's that generous! To fully appreciate your RM20, you have to subscribe to Movies, Sports and Learning package, and we all know Movies and Sports channels are their main (read : more expensive) packages, totaling RM101.95 edi.

How many can actually have all the HD channels? Like me, I don't subcribe to movie package. So can only enjoy 4 HD channels. And will they increase the fees once they have more HD channels?
