how do u know it is really becoz of the jailbreak problem? i had this prob since i'm using Sony Ericson K810i... yet still receiving the same problem on my iphone 3G... sighhh

im in 3.0 ifon 2g , installed a few apps from cydia (put it under Q) then installed all 1 shot, now my phone is restarting non stop, hangs on the main screen. is there a way to revive it without loosing the information in it ? i just purchased a few application from app store. have not sync it with itunes yet. what to do ?

well, nt sure abt da restart n hanging prob, but i can assure u can get ur apps back..
just download them on ur pc la...they wun charge u again..

well its fixed, i didnt restore my fon in itunes, straight went to redsn0w and ran the process again with the 3.0 firmware. all worked fine. only took 1 minute. everything is fine.

There seems to be a bug on cydia, when trying to install queued application. The phone seems to get confused (sort of) it actually just restarts infinity.. its not like restarting for every application.

well im on the 2g, i do not if the 3g has got this problem.

i try not to queue alot of stuff at one go...screamyx smtimes cant seem to download da stuff...while on 3g its fine...

well its not the matter of can download or not, its like the phone get confused.. it just restarts non stop...

My son went ahead and upgraded to 3.0 and JB using Redsn0w.
But now cant access the internet even tho it shows connected to the wifi router.
Thus cannot go to get ultrasn0w and the phone is locked.
Any advise?

But i've jailbreaked and unlocked iPhone 3g to 3.0 using redsn0w and unlocked using ultrasn0w.

Used to be firmware 2.1 and was using turbosim.

Now not using turbosim anymore. direct sim.

But , whenver i insert the simcard, it seems that the phone is very very laggy.. whatever applications i run will lag .. But when i remove the sim , it's smooth as ever.

Is this a bug or is it my firmware which is installed wrongly or corrupted?

maybe u want to check the email push notification. turn it to manual.

i would advise you to restore to factory setting and select start as new phone (means do not restore from backup) and try again.

You can look on pinned thread to learn how to backup the contact,sms,mail ,etc manually.

Ok, i fixed the lag problem . Solution was just restore to OS 3.0 again and re-unlock it..

Now its as smooth as ever.

guys i want to know what the main problem on my iphone..my battery when i try to charge it show fully charge icon..even i just plug it..sometime it can charge until 50% only..then it drop until 20% even i charge it...try using other charger also gave same result..it happen after i upgrade to OS 3.0..now i cannot charge it..blur already...

Try this: Drain out your batt by using until it shuts off by itself. Then recharge it till full. **If you have any batt themes, take it off.

It's always good to crain out the batt once a month thus helps to prolong the batt life.

yes you can unlocked it with ultrasn0w and and it works perfectly after that, last friday i have unlocked 2 iphone from O2 UK ( which is my eldest brother iphone and his friend iphone) and it works perfectly charm.

just follow the guide inform by Bro DG and everything will be ok.
