90 vs 78...its quite a big gap temperature

@leyley : no aircond, just me and fan. The GPU (HD3200) overclocked @ 669MHz.

if you update to new bios make sure after flash. go into bios menu and load optimized default setting. then save and exit. it help to prevent freezing issue...

downclocking now to 1.5ghz . i wan to test how long the battery can last for 1.5ghz , finding the lowest vcore now

My cq40 got some overheating issue...i put it into balance mode and the idle temp in aircond is 60++,power saver 50 degree idle...sometimes even in power saver,running it for around 1hour+ at 50degree also will cause restart....any way to solve this issue? I get fed up with the restart problem since last december and I switched to desktop that time. My warranty expired in March but I had no time to go for warranty. I asked the shop, they say need send to HP main HQ in Damansara =.= I dont have my own transport

50-60 ++ dc is normal for this model, if with flash, easily hit up 7x ++ dc.

the restart matter, what error show from the event viewer ?

the restart matter should be not the temperature ,

because this model , can even shot up to 9x c without any restarting.

i just got back my laptop after replacing the screen...

but a strange thing happen to me...
i remember last time i sent my laptop...i hav 2 user account....admin and user...
the admin account must key in password...
after i get it....my laptop only hav 1 user account....which is admin...and there is no password needed to key in....plus all my hidden folder has been unhidden....

Need help on this.. I received Blink (code 4) which means i have issues with my Graphic Controller.

Now does this mean my GC is broken or is it the monitor? If its the GC can i upgrade the GC on this laptop or is the card onboard? Ive seen some vids on youtube on changing the LCD, any idea where i can get one of those LCD?

this situation never happened on my laptop before.

idle around 60ish, 40ish for hdd, using hwinfo. no info on gpu yet

need to dload hwmonitor after tis

i would like to know more about the load temperature . would it shoot up to 9x celcuis ?

60idle , seem not much improvement from previous turion RM series processor.
