'Laser 3.5G' its Razer latest technology, theres no other mice has it.

And yes, BlueTrack tech its inhouse developement by Microsoft, if not it will be like Microsoft Habu which has a Razer logo on it.. heh

Luckily they don't follow Razer... siaoz... imo not worth at all, as i mentioned earlier ur paying alot extra for the "display box".. literately... lol

Extra rm100+ its way too much .. rm50 more still can consider...

Imo, Sidewinder X8 its the most 'Bang for Buck' wireless/wired mouse, even some places in U.S. selling for just mere us$50bucks!..

And abt the dpi, imo its one of those "why not" kinda deal, not that useable... theres no one i know uses more than 3000dpi with sensitivity max.

Especially im one of those ppl use very high-sensitivity (i set sensitivity at 20 for CS).

one question regarding the x8 mouse. If u take out the battery and plug in the usb cable, will it work without the battery on cable?

The x8 bulk is giving me pressure between Gigabyte Ghost, and x8.

What u mean fixed 3 speeds?.. u can set yer favorite or the selections of dpi u normally use into one of those 3-buttons mah.

Hey peeps!, my friend just bought her Sidewinder X6 few weeks ago, and she noticed her keys faded!..

Dam.. is it a bad batch or what..

Anyways, to make matter worse, she sent back to the shop for rma.

A few days later, the shop that she bought from said "You can't claim warranty because its just fade keys, as the keyboard still working"...

Its there such thing?.. i mean few weeks only and the keys faded liaoz.. and yet can't claim warranty?.. wth...

Does anyone know the distro (contact number) or rma department for Sidewinder X6?..

At the same time i wanna find out too, as i myself using one and no keys faded so far.. *cross fingers*

I meant.. its a gaming keyboard... yet so easily fade wan..

Enigmare, since ur selling it oso, really can't claim warranty for faded keys ah?..

Call for the Malaysia Microsoft .... asking for the warranty and also the issue's ... call them for sure since it has be a problem when you newly brought it

Actually, the sales person is quite right. Faded keys are wear and tear - so long the keyboard is still working, I doubt they'll make an exchange for you. Faded keys are quite normal I guess - it's the way the product is design. Sometimes, some people's fingers have nails which, can scratch off paint..ouch. Those oso u can't blame the seller or Microsoft what...

My X6 hasn't faded at all dude, and it's been a month or so since I've had mine. Maybe ur friend's fingers are toxic?

err but some unexpected tearing like it tearing it self without a proper reason can claim wad =/

I'll ask her to call tomolo, since so late liaoz.

I understand if the user used it more than few years, but not even a year...

Fyi, Logitech and Razer does replacements for faded keys within warranty period, and Microsoft such big company doesn't?...

Yea, the thing its we expect as a "gaming keyboard" shld be more durable than normal keyboard.. yet this happens...

U sure Razer and Logitech does replacements for faded keys dude? As far as I know, those wear and tear items are not claimable...

certain of tear items are claimable =D .....

even my G9 Mouse can be claim the XL Grip even it has been a little tear off ....

Faded keys consider as wear and tear and physical damage,i dont think it can be RMA-ed
