maybe if stock BMW come with 17" if we downgrade to 15" got more power laugh.gif

WRC car i think only 15" or 16" what they want to the best time and to win the race, not win the chick and become rempit (edisi kereta)

90% of the time ppl. use huge rims just for cosmetic changes.

I kinda agree, WRC cars use those sizes, last month (or was it two months back), Toyota brought in a TRD prepared Vios for the Sepang track using 14inch hmm.gif

haha yeah... to thin tyre also will easily cause puncture and also rim to damage...
u know la... they will go thru everything more than 100km/h gravel, muddy or sandy or tarmac...
*
and even the rims dented they wont care, at least the size didnt change and still can attract chicks then ok lor tongue.gif

QUOTE(kcng @ May 8 2009, 09:37 AM)
u wan downgrade can, but can your smaller rims clear the disc brakes or not first
*
so they use larger rims because of the disc brake? hmm.gif

vios dont have that much horsepower and torque to move larger rims lar laugh.gif

the larger the rims the more power you need to move it, but i heard some said slightly larger rims is good for long journey, like 14" > 15"

Sifus, if i were to compare both these tyres, which would be better? Thank you.

Pros -
Running on 2nd set of RE001 now
- Sikly smooth, Quiet..not bad for performance tyre.
- Tread wear is pretty good, you don't see uneven wear on outer tread block..
- Sidewall is hard, good for cornering..But review said YokoAD07 is even harder..and grip better in corner.
- Tread pattern is attractive, beautiful ..agree?wub.gif

Cons
- Pricey, compare to its competitor
- On damp surface, performance start to deteriorate..
