NCT5 can cause an accident that other tyres cant do, even above the safety mark, NCT5 is a C4 on your car.

A lot of accidents and lost lives could be avoided if ppl pay attention to their driving and also tires used...so no point in skimping on tires. Get a good one. If using 15inch and below, most top range tires are still affordable.

Never use cheap tyre, go for something decent especially for 15" and smaller eg PP2. Not worth fixing the car when lost grip.

haha... ppl in malaysia u know la...
any way... my dad use Michelin all the way... even his spare car Toyota KE-70...
my mum scold him wat for use Michelin energy for that car... seldom drive 1 week may be 3 times...
except his Volkswagon 60's is using cheap tyres... as that one 1 week only use 1 time...

but i'm breaking the tradition... trying hankook V12 on my vios next month or so... smile.gif

BTW i think XM1 tires very cheap now... last time when i started to drive 13" XM1 still cost around 160 woh (in Ipoh)...
now only 130 only wat... that day i change on the Avanza in Klang XM1 195/60 R15 only RM200 not bad...
185/55 R15 PP2 for smaller car like Vios and City also cost around there in Klang...
V12 195/55 R15 cheaper as it is only RM175 in Klang... i think that price ok...
a lot better than NCT5... around the V12 price but safety... sweat.gif

V12 got available in 14"? hmm.gif

i'm wondering why some people like to install huge rims on small car with very little horsepower, for example, kancil with 15" and wira with 16" or 17" shakehead.gif

wont it feel underpower?

and also why those BMW have huge rims? if downgrade to smaller rim size will have more power ka?

well said... a lot of ppl just want to look nice...
but they did not know they have to pay more for the tire until their tire change...
example 17 inch tire will cost more than 400 if you want better grade... of course they will say no need...
coz who will pay for a RM1600 tire change on a wira... ya there is some ppl will do so...
do mostly they will change to lower grade or cheaper tires below RM250...
they will think like no one know/see mah...
once i saw a E class Benz fitted on indo brand (if not mistaken) i was like wah...

so far i've never see expensive car running on made in malaysia tyres, i mean those BMW and merz lar, not civic, camry and accord...

style really not that important, unless the bigger rims can give me extra horsepower and improve aerodynamic, otherwise i will stick with 14" (stock) or 15"

i still dont know what's the point changing to larger rims in low horsepower and low torque cars.....

if me i will prefer my car look as stock as possible on the outside, but inside might have a supercharger brows.gif impossible lar....

and still wondering why cars like BMW have a large rims hmm.gif

maybe if stock BMW come with 17" if we downgrade to 15" got more power laugh.gif

WRC car i think only 15" or 16" what they want to the best time and to win the race, not win the chick and become rempit (edisi kereta)
