recommended to used back as the OEM fitted or change within the 3% rules...
i see no reasons for your change... try out Michelin Primacy or Yoko C Drive...
hope tat suits u... smile.gif

hmmm..i see...thanks..but michelin primacy heard is comfort tires and when do fast cornering tend to flex alot??? hmm.gif .....my stock conti cc1 use around 50% and now when 100-130km steering vibrates d....ish....and its due to uneven rotation "jumping"....so planning to change front tires..la...and i travel highway most of the time, and the vibration really disturbing...

Yes. am using the same profile, albeit,  C.drive at the front and S.drive at the rear without any problem.
look like am gonna swap the S.drive to the front cuz' my 'fei poh auntie wanna take a ride back to kampar
soon......jk  tongue.gif
No problem. my neighbour is using profile 55 front and profile 60 rear. no obvious different. smile.gif
for average driving, i suggest you stay with profile 60, which is more comfortable.
profile 55 will give you a slightly bumpy ride(depending on suspension set up).
yokohama A.drive is fine for average driving. C.drive and S.drive has a harder sidewall, thus good for taking fast corner.
*
hmmm...i see...so how much is C.drive for 195/60/r15???...sorry 4 asking since no price list right??.....so C.drive is better than conti cc1???(wana know)..haha.....pricing between rm180-230++......good for cornering, not noisy.......if compare michelin xm1 and C.drive which is better ah???....my driving style is average..sometimes gila gila... laugh.gif i just planning to change front tires 1st...as the steering vibrates 100km-140km...arghh...done alot balancing d...so decided to change tires.....

hmmm...thanks.....oh yea..the vibration just occur 100km-140km...but on certain roads, the vibration not so obvious...depend on the road.......done 3-5 balancing d..same...but gatal also..la..wana change tire... laugh.gif ...i think most probably will get c-drive 195/55/r15...or change front tire 1st....or if budget permits, just get the michelin pp2...sacrifice ride comfort a abit.... biggrin.gif .....right now on conti cc1 stock....so i guess c-drive is much much better right??? since i see both price around the same hmm.gif

most of the shop i went to selling the C.drive 195/60/r15 under 195 bucks. i get my 2pcs of 195/55/r15 around 380 somewhere in march at 380 bucks including computerized wheel balancing and rim repair  thumbup.gif
at the price, i really get the bang for bucks!
good for cornering, no aqua planning, good grip in wet / dry and no steering vibration(check your joints/ lower arm bush) at 198km/h...  thumbup.gif
the only complaint; noisier on uneven surface and ride is a little firmer(am on the last profile 55, i think this profile is no longer available on C.drive smile.gif  ).
i tried conti cct1 before, softer ride. not as noisy as the C.drive but offer less fun. karak highway definitely need a tyre with harder sidewall  whistling.gif

Micheal9413 was right, XM1 is on par with A.drive. thread wise, A.drive last longer.
*
hehehe....thanks bro...cause my conti cc1...rotating "jumping" not smooth...so i think its the cause of making vibration but 140km onwards not reli vibrate...oredi done super damn alot balancing still same..........so which outlet can i get resonable price???..... hmm.gif ....can intro any yokohama aoutlet?? laugh.gif or the place u change ur tire?...thinking of xm1, but since its more to comfort..and i sometimes do corner like mad fella....like going genting or sudd syoik...so prefer a better good sidewall.... blush.gif

and also...why when its rainy days or the road is wet, i brake ,the tires will lock....but when the tire is new no such thing...hmmm is it means it time to change?? ....hope can change before i going PD with my friends and the tire got cuts and small cracks... doh.gif ...

You already have the price list from YHI? rolleyes.gif

RM5XX for 15" is abit overkill. Considering the performance gain is not that much over the UHP range...

I replace with new sets of donuts every 20k km(7-9months)...If change to RE11, then cannot change tyre so frequent liao.  sad.gif

wah means the tire not wear out also change d?? brows.gif .....wad donuts u on now??.....

[quote=ralf,Aug 10 2009, 08:32 PM]Yes, i don't judge the tyre by looking at tread depth...Whatever tyre is it(expensive or cheap), performance start to deteriorate after 20k km.  yawn.gif

Now still on 2nd set of RE001, already clocked 8k km on it...Last 2weeks went to Yoko tyre shop, i ask for YokoAD08, tauke said belum lagi..sabar la bang..

i see....finally i had changed my donuts frm the stock conti cc1 with new PP2 each RM210......the steering vibration totally solved... rclxm9.gif ....it is due to the tire problem...lol...so far had use 500km use since last monday.....its not bad when it comes to corner and highspeed stability drool.gif ....

well depends... have not try Barum Michelin is a bit expensive... is normal...
individual preference lo i can say... i will not buy it... but if you try to swap to Michelin yu will know the gap of the 2 brands...
same case with my fren... last time GY or Sime tire or Dunlop... after change to Michelin he did not look back... smile.gif
*
stock conti cc1>michelin PP2....never look back... brows.gif ......so far 3000km of running in..the tires really give good handling which makes me love to corner more.... whistling.gif highspeed stability really improved much dont really have floaty feeling brows.gif
