Kai here, got cheated MYR5000 at Seri Petaling (Tropi Jaya MArketing) but I just noticed that they have shifted their company to somewhere else...

I couldn't send through my court document to them successfully and my TTPM hearing will be on 30/05/2011 in Penang.

Can anyone advise what to do next? I heard we can't even make sure the money to be fully returned though wining the case?

Every single day, i can't help to stop thinking back on that incident where i'm stopped by the 18 year old boy and talked about the fantastic prize i won. How can i fall into the trap?

I'm not like you can share with family and friends. I'm still can't accept my foolishness.
My family do not know anything about it.

I manage to get the fella's IC and his signature.
I'll get back the compensation from him instead of the company (coz the company does not exist after all).

The company is well and operating out in the public, They are still issuing yellow color lucky draw envelopes at bukit bintang. Their office Tropi Jaya Marketing is at sri petaling yesterday. I was unlucky to get something from them. Maybe I should go to report polis and kdnkk?

Hey guys,just to make a clear sense here.In this century where would a such great deal offered to anyone of us without being involved in any? I once have been persuade by bunch of conman near brickfields when i was on my way to college.Yes,i am doing law at BAC. They told me,if i am lucky enough,i will have won a chance to some great stuff. And yes,the same process here,i got "special gift" thingy.I bet each and every of that will yield the same results.Then they acted like congrats me and so so..I told them if i were to win anything just give me that thing right now or you can have it.Of course,it doesn't takes a rocket scientist to figured it out that NO such wonderful deal in the world.And of course they ignored me after that.Everyday i read newspaper,there are bunch of conman happening around everywhere and yet,there are ppl who are the victim of these.I hope not many ppl will fall for this from now on because it's very tempted when you won a prize even not ever in your life you've won a lottery ticket.

I have just attended the hearing case today..
Just to share here with everyone if you have fell in the trap..

Be brave to stand out to claim back your money.
Their manage to survive till nowadays despite many operations from police are mainly due to ppl's latency to go through the troublesome prosedur to get back their money.

Today in the court i can see the chance of winning is bright.
In case you wanna fight till the end by going to Tribunal Pengguna.
A piece of advice from my side is tat you need to have sufficient information.

For example:
Situation 1: you get conned and you only have the stupid receipt with no company name/address etc. Then get the PIC IC number and name (MAKE SURE EVERYTHING YOU TAKE ARE CORRECT)

Situation 2: You got receipt of company and name etc, everything about the company is just right. Dun put the company as the opponent as they will move to other place and end up you need to refile the case which is a waste of time. So pls get the PIC's IC and Name (MAKE SURE DOUBLE CHECK WITH HIS IC TO CONFIRM IT'S TRUE) who conned you.

My situation now is the 1st one in which i have no clue about the opponent and therefore dunno how to retrieve back the info. If anyone who get conned at taman danau desa please provide me details.

I remember during my vacation to KL in Feb- at the Times Sq Bridge- A young girl & a man call me in their sweet & friendly tone. I just zoom off quickly & always thought they would give up-Looking behind- They still chase me..LOL...I quickly enter the low Yat plaza & hide

Saw a whole bunch of teenagers today distributing those flyers nearby the bridge linking to Berjaya Times Square. Sooo....many victims-to-be. Tried to warn a girl that this is a scam by whispering to her ears, the guy rudely shouted at me "Zou kai!!" (get off!) looking as if he wanna pick up a fight. I just walked off. Bad idea to argue with them when u r outnumbered. One of them even ask "为什么你要这样...??" (why u wanna do this??). Gosh...they just don't see what they did is wrong! Argh! It's frustrating to see how many teens willing to take up this job despite knowing the fact that they r conning others hard earned money. If they don feel guilty of what they doing, he wouldn't hv reacted so negatively when I whispered to that girl.

I don blame him for being selfish. In this crazy world, u'll nv know what these scammers might do to u when u stand in the name of justice. Eg: scratch your car, kidnap n gang rape, splash acid etc etc

I really want to help the victims too. But they operate in a big group. Today they hv like 15 of them. They don look well educated at all judging from the way they talk n behave. I'm a lady dressed up in my working attire but they acted like they could beat u up even if u r a lady. worry that they will recognize me n try to harm me for breaking their rice bowl. U'll never know what these rascals might do. Cuz all they do is think bout their own profit n not care bout how pitiful their victims are.
