Mine was just 2-3 hours.
U r using the charger provided, or u were using charger from ur previous nokia phone or sumthg?

actually that is not much different if you using the AC-5X charger to charge the battrey once is full or up to 10 hours, if you really want to take care on your battrey and u manage to charge over night, try to use the AC-3X charger..

charger =
higher output power = shorter charging time = lesser time the battery stand by..
lower output power = longer charging time = longer time the battery stand by..

AC-5X - average 1.5 hours to fully charge.
AC-3X - average 3.5 hours to fullay charge.

lifetime of a battery is depend how many time u charge the battery, even just plug in for charge 2 minutes..everage is 1000 time for recharge ..

Btw, guys, izzit advisable to update my AP set thru NSU software or there is a different way of updating AP sets. Realised my E71 start to crash at odd times.

How about using car charger? Sorry if it is a stupid question but for me it is the one which takes the longest time..yet the standby time is not that good

are u using the original car charger..
Original car cahrger DC-4 = output 890mA, same like the AC-5X, is consider high output charger, cause you need to recharge the battrey in a short while, like about 1.5 hours to fully charge.

my battery lasts 3.5days with overnight charging. i leave the phone ON 24hrs a day.

try not to charge it overnight..once its full plug out the charger..

Guys,

I got an AP set with the 1xx. firmware. When I use the Nokia Software Updater, it return with "you are already on the latest firmware".

How do I update to the latest 2xx. firmware?

check ur phone r u e71-1, e71-2 or e71-3.. or jus c ur keypad is it like normal simple 1 or more complex symbol type? if so u need to change the product code using NSS then only u can update to the latest firmware..

Its a E71-1 AP set. Would there be any problem with the unit if I change the product code. Anyone done it successfully?

The button on the left which in default is the menu key is squeaky an loose. Any idea NSC can fix this? It's only 2 weeks...

sorry, the original i mean is "original nokia charger, not the compatible one, AC-3X is one of the model of charger, E71 is come with the AC-5X", pls don't get confuse..

i know this is a silly question. but how do i insert the E71 phone signature ? the bar?
