If difference only around RM200, then I suggest you go for new so you can throw away all the worries.

If only the difference in around RM300 plus then I only will consider 2nd hand set, but still you need to take the risk and accept the condition of a 2nd hand item.

If you cannot stand the worries, then I suggest might as well you go for a new set..cheers

Hmmm, for the cert and key, its kinda easy to get, free, from several nokia forum which they provide this services to their forumer.
I get my E71 and N95's cert & key just 1 day after i submit my enquiry to them.

from my experience get from member in lyn always cheaper getting from shop lor. Somemore shop sometimes u must entertain their attitude problem

Infact before I made my purchases of my White steel e71 , my priority goes to him and due to his firm price , I move on with a new set.
In our conversation , I can make a conclusion that he's not using invisible shield ( not invicible ) protective film but those from wrapping stall that easily set you around 80 to 150 aswell.

It might looks ugly to others , but seller still apply it to protect the device. New buyer can always peel it off and I dont think it'll leave any residue there. New owner doesn't have to worry about the outlook condition as it'll just look as good as new one.

About the less glossy on the steel , I dont think so. My white steel have been applied Invisible Shield since the first day I got my phone and until today , the invisible shield protects and makes the phone looks glossy without the need of wiping off to look clean all the time.


Anyway , everything and every product got it pros and cons. It's just how the way you see it.

hmm, after upgrading the firmware myself via Nokia PC Suite... I have lost the ability to switch input language (due to it not being there). Before upgrading, I can switch between English, BM, Chinese and etc.

Anyone know how can I get back the Chinese+BM+English input, without needing to go back to the Nokia Care Centre?

I tried using the Chinese version of the Nokia PC Suite to Update the software but I still get only English + Italio only. Is there something I'm missing?

i'm still confusing about the Invisible Shield , is it something like the laminating the phone?

Invisible shield is a Poly urethane film that protects the phone.
Yes , just like wrapping/laminating the phone , the only differences for Invisible shield is that it's pre-cut so you just stick it like screen protector.



Invisible shield for E71 doesn't includes the keypad area.

Wow .. U didn saY.. Ur phone is protected by I.S.. u apply urself or shop apply for u? Look flawless.. In the pic although more angle needed to fully judge it.. Hehe.. Wat i heard is tat I.S tend to produce not very clean cut shield.. Meaning it may not fit 100% nicely to the e71 dimension.. Although i agree it did pretty well in protection wise.. As i hav shown in previous few hundred post i guess .. Hehe..

Added on July 22, 2009, 9:48 pm Guess it is becos ur set is ap set .. Try check ur firmware by pressing *#0000#.. So once u update it.. It will go bac to its original region firmware.. Only way to get bac chinese is by changing ur product code and flash it with asian firmware..

any Nokia Email users here? lately i realise that the emails take quite long to push to my handphone. and off and on it cannot even connect to the mail servers.

anyone of you got same prob?

p/s: whenever i use my phone to browse the web using wi-fi. my nokia messaging some how hangs....it doesn't sync anymore. i have to shutdown the application and restart it again.

is there any other better push mail application out there which is free?
