As everyone is mentioning , white colour parts will turn into yellowish as time passes.
Storing it in the leather case wont really helps it.

Awaiting for white steel users on enlighten.

Try Nokia's own freeware - the Nokia Energy Profiler - to find out how your phone eats up battery. It measures in Watt. Seems pretty interesting...

how did you achieve such high speed? i realise that my USB file transfers via the phone usb cable is slow as well. but when i remove the memory card and slot it into my card reader in my laptop, i manage to transfer at a higher speed.

so im not sure if its the phone or the cable that is making it slow?

i change to E71 one month ago.. and i just realise that, when making call.. i dont see call timer under the person name...

like when u call someone, your screen will show this green phone icon with person name. on my old n70 below the name will be call timer..

but how come it is not in E71 eh?

they say its the cable and that E71 microusb is usb1.1 and not usb2.0...i'm not sure but the speed does not change much even after i connect the phone in "memory transfer mode"

that's freakin' fast! tongue.gif i think my transfer for 500mb (garmin) also takes me easily more than 15minutes. u using the latest firmware right? ok let me double confirm the timing again, this time i'll time it..

yea i believe the mini usb is 1.1 only. In win vista we can see the file transfer rate. And the difference is really alot between cable n the card straight.

cehhh..i tot i wanted to throw my phone already...lol tongue.gif

anyway my timing as follow:-

Phone: E71-1
Firmware: 200.21.118
Transfer mode: Mass storage

Phone memory card : Trascend 4GB class 6
Comparison memory card: Apacer 1GB pendrive
Timer: G-Shock watch

File transfer - Type / Size / Time:-

PC-phone - File A.exe / 12,747KB / 15s 44
PC-pendrive - File A.exe / 12,747KB / 4s 28

PC-phone - File B.avi / 359,165KB / 6m 51s 14
PC-pendrive - File B.avi / 359,165KB / 1m 38s 62

hehe i just used whatever file i found in my PC and transferred. Note that i used same USB port on PC therefore i confirm there is no mistake of different port transfer speed. tongue.gif

Can you see the above difference??!! mad.gif
