Ur friends same phone,telco,garmin version,maps with u? Do u install personal POI into ur garmin? How long is long?

hmm.. Wah 5 minute? Mine only 30 sec max . But it still depend on ur location. Use it the car if heavy tinted will take longer la. so i assume u 2 use the same mapsource right ? Y dont u giv ur phone a full charge 1st then check again. POI is located in ur garmin folder.

i think to get better gps signal is not depend on ur current location..if u inside building,totaly u cant get gps signal langsung..

by da way below is the trick n tips to get better gps signal

*Stand where you have a clear view of the sky. Buildings, hills, trees, etc., will block the signals from the GPS satellites. The goal is to receive the signal from as many GPS satellites as possible.
Hold your GPS at shoulder height. Even your body can block the signal from the GPS satellites.

u cannot open contact list as in the contact software will hang or in the contact list everything is empty?

try typing something in the standby mode, you should be given suggested contact list on the standby menu, does it work that way?

if you already have the contact list sync'ed to your outlook, i suggest hard reset *#7370* to wipe clean your phone menu and software then try if you can open the contact..then after only you sync back the contacts.

question 1 :try access it from menu>communication>contacts.. if able mean ur shortcut is "Fruit" up.. so go to setting>general>personalization>one-touch key>set it accordingly again lor..

erm u mena without ca charger is it? if u r using smart charger .. it will only charge ur battery when ur battery level drop.. garmin usage before battery drop will be around 2  hour  from fresh charge kot. then drop 1 bar.. after tat drop another bar after another 2 hour.. my record is 6 hour straight usage.. still with 2 bar left..

tat mean time to visit the nokia's dr d.. did this happen after u update ur firmware? is ur set ori or ap?
