I didn't know iphone cost twice as much as E71. Thanks for telling me that. And ya, I think this is the No1 reason for me to not consider iphone.

BTW, does anyone know when would the E52 be launched in Malaysia and any indicative price?

for rich ppl they dont look at good deal they look what they like. Thats why apple are so rich today? Life are not like those years where ppl buy what is value for money. Today kids spend their parents money or nag PAPA i want that phone. Next they get it. They dun care whether its a good deal or not. Some kids are brought up in a rich family do they care? Only children that are brought up poor will look another way.

Some ppl said buy phone will always lose money but to tell u the truth ive sell my phone and made some bucks there.

Well, honestly i had been told by many ppl that buyin a phone is totally a waste of money just as buyin a car...but may i know how can u earn by selling second handphone??

Depends on what you use your phone for.

When used properly, business smartphone can increase productivity and hence more money.

Of course if only for meaningless chit chat and to show off, you will lose money.

any photo editing program for recommandation? with resize and crop function. i've use resco but not really like the function.

i miss my E71..if my bonus is chun..thinking of getting it back..kinda bored with 5800 already..

apple iphone only one mode, so cannot compare across their own product.
for nokia, depends on generation and phone model. cannot say all symbian-nokia phones are fast.. or all are slow.

nokia smartphones (symbians) have many models.. even within the same e-series they run different processor (ARM11 369mhz, 434mhz or 600Mhz) and the RAM size also different, and available free RAM in the end will differ on the software+applications pre-loaded on the phone.

take for example, N79 and N85 both launched at the same time, similar specs for processor (freescale Mx300), memory (256/128mb) and OS version (v3 FP2), but i find N79 more responsive than N85. the latter symbians are much more responsive now, like e75 which has gone through optimisation of the OS and memory usage.

go and test it out at a nokia shop and compare.. that wat i did.. i actually wanted N85, but then after playing with E75 and N79 at the nokia shop.. my scoring for the speed of responsiveness:

E75 - 10 points
N79 - 8.5 point
N85 - 5.0 points

but generally E series are more responsive than N series, because they don't pack in so many entertainment and media features

most of the website state that e52 launches in July.. depending on if malaysia wants to launch it at that time or later. the pricing shouldn't be higher than E66 and E71 from past experience (comparing E51 with E65 when it was first launched)

I have both 5800 XM and E71.

I will never trade my E71 for a 5800 XM for many reason

1st Touchscreen resistive touch vibrate when typing
2nd 4 way input ( QWERTY FULL SCREEN, Mini Qwerty , Alpha numberic , handwriting. ( E71 cant sms while driving when 5800 XM can
3rd Games are more fun to play with touch screen immediately response
4th Dual Speaker better than E71
5th E71 = 2.36 screen when 5800 = 3.2 inch screen of course bigger screen
6th Virtual Keypads are BIG when E71 keypad so tiny i see older ppl have problem even looking at the keys
7th 5800 NEWER OS same with N97 = more development of newer application and updates
8th Auto rotate Screen Auto flip to silent
9th Breath Indicator for 5800 XM and when E71 notification light its so hard to see
10th Especially website u need scroll to the link to click with E71 when 5800 XM u immediately touch the link to open
11th Camera E71 is better but to focus quite dumb need press the T to focus not autofocus
12th 5800 XM comes with geotagging support
13th E71 have a more solid feel.

What i love the most about E71 is the size and battery life.
Its just a comparison to show the difference between E71 and 5800 XM

Regarding tis geotagging thinggy.. I read in gsmarena,they said e71 hav been updated with it:.. But i nvr c it under the camera option pun.. Any1 used it b4?

actually my office mate have problem on e71.. .. she playing on contact but suddenly something goes wrong, if someone call it didnt appear name or no phone but just word "calling"..
