Im facing same problem with roysun. I dont have problem sync with my own iphone 3gs, but whn i plug-in my sister iphone 3gs itunes told me to restore.
Both aso firmware 3.1.2 (7D11) & jailbroken. Downloaded firmware 3.1.2 and doing normal restore procedure but itunes show error "" The iphone could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build"

Any idea or solutions? Thank you so much.

well it should work..but i have reading that most of them cant shift restore....not sure what is the reason...anyway..if dont mind just update to 3.1.3...

Her iphone cydia SHSH on 3.1.3, means cant downgrade. My only solution are restore to fw3.1.3 and wait for this fw jailbreakable.

my recently bought iphone 3gs is currently locked,
and i have no idea why it is locked,
i didnt update anything or even plugged it to my itunes,
it is an officially unlock set by singtel.

so i decided to update my itunes to 3.1.3 and restore my iphone,
but an error message popped up,
and i cannot finish the restoration of my iphone,
now it is stuck in the "connect to itunes" screen when i start it up.

I have a question for syncing my iPhone calender to my Windows 7. I noticed most of the sync is done with Vista and older OS. I checked back, Windows 7 utilize Live Mail for emailing. In iTunes I cant sync my calender to anything, its blank. Do you guys have recommendation of what I should do? or any third party software will do. Thanks

if all of that doesn't including the dfu mode..try bring it back singtel..maybe they can solve or any hardware problem there would be a replacement...

I know some the guys here personally and i don't understand what rudeness you're talking about. How violent can their reply be? I hardly see them calling anyone fag or use harsh words on anyone. And for your information, this is an open forum and everyone has their own way of putting words together but i don't see my guys here using foul languages. If they do, report them to the mods using the report function if you think they are harassing you.

All i see them doing is to ask forumers to read the pinned threads or use the search function before posting because we have loads of information that's provided for beginners to veteran users. Plus, i'm asking them to do so including reporting forumers who uses harsh words and forumers who don't choose to read the pinned threads or threads related to thier queries.

So let's be cool and nice to everyone here. Forumers will help when they can.

bro, try using different pc whether it is able to restore or not, your best bet would be to find a mac and try it out before you resort to warranty claiming solution.

Just simply plugin ur iphone and rerun the blackrain.exe tat u used for jailbreaking process.

just install window 7 and install old version itune and it out error

itunes you need a new version and make sure you download the correct file..in could be 64 bit or 32 bit

Hi fellow forumers , Hmm would just like to ask everyone's info on this as it has been bugging me... Ok first things first.. my home button on my iphone is getting less sensitive.. if this is the case, should i send it for warranty or is it a normal occurance?

2nd thing, i noticed that once in a while it states no sim card found.. and that weird, what i would do after that is restart the phone and some times it would show 'my maxis' and some times the same thing.. no sim card found.... this happens randomly and only once in a while only.. Do you guys think that the sim card is spoling or its something to do with the phone?

I am using a jailbroken 3gs 3.1.2 (maxis set, the original without the modifed bootrom)

Any tips would be really appreciated, as i dont want to take it in for warranty, and get a new modified bootrom version

I recently got a digi prepaid card to put into my 3GS. After configuring all the apn settings, my network still shows 'E' and not 3G even though I'm inside Digi 3G coverage area.

I just want to post my experience here I think quite a lot of people might have faced the same problem. I recently got an Iphone 3GS and tried to jailbreak using Blackra1n. This was successful but I couldnt sync anything through itunes. I tried jailbreaking using Redsn0w and I got stuck in DFU mode. I had no choice but to update to 3.1.3. So warning for those jailbreaking a recent iphone 3GS hold back for a while or do lots of investigation before attempting to jail break it.

anyone know how to back-up my application? i have format my laptop. then i install new itunes, when i wan to sync the apllication not sync to the itunes. how ya?

Go to file in iTunes ...try export your data to desktop..or you can also go iTunes folder on the c drive..copy the complete library file...save that file on the different partition or another harddisk...after reformatting install iTunes..them import back your files...

but i already formatted my laptop. then i'm install the new itunes. the applications now still in my iphone. when i want to sync the iphone, it say "all existing data in iphone will be replaced with application from this iTunes library". my itunes library for application is zero. so if i sync i will delete all my application in iphone la rite?
