no you dont have to buy again. you have have to re-download them if you dont have a back up

don't sync with your iPhone with the iTunes first...redownload back the apps...and once you have everything then sync it with your phone..at least you know which app you have..

redownload again using iphone or computer?

need some advice.......I recently bought a new PC and start to use my new PC to access to Itunes.

Previously i'm using my old laptop to access to Itunes.

My questions are:

1. How to transfer my iphone music,tv,music video to my new computer? Cos everything i snyc, it will say my data in iphone will be replace with my new desktop data.

2. Same as question 1, but it about our application/games downloaded to new PC. I use transfer purchases back to my new desktop and no problem. However when i want to sync my applications, itunes will prompt my data application iphone will be erase and replace with my desktop application.


How ah? Any advice?

First to import your library in the iTunes...copy the imported library file and to be in the safe site copy the library file in the iTunes folder on your c drive.. Then paste it on your new desktop... Try importing the files..I think your most recent back up and application will be there...but music..movie which are not purchased..you need put them back again or relocate the file in iTunes..

Dear all,

I jz formatted my pc without deauthorize my itune account due to I cant access my pc windows..
I got my my pc, i try to sync with my ipone, itune ask to authorize.
After i authorize, it shows 2 out of 5 already..
So, the previous one has already 'burn'..
I cant really sync my iphone n pc as it keep on asking to authorize..
There are some apps are not functioning anymore..
How to get back to the previous iphone with all the apps are functioning without keep on authorize..

i've been formatting my comp for alot of time without a prob syning my apps....did u try deauthorize and reauthorize again?

menu bar>store>deauthorize...and thn same step again to re-authorize again

i recently sync my iphone and it tells me to upgrade to 3.1.3 which i refused.. then another window pop up.. if not mistaken it tells me to upgrade someting call the carrier service..

p/s lately i keep getting msg in my phone to call me switch to airplane mode.. cause duno wat interference all..

you can have an unlocked iPhone, but it is still jailbroken no?

anyhow my suggestion is to restore (cliché i know), but the carrier settings update has obviously tampered your connectivity abilities.

perhaps someone has a better suggestion to this?

i can relate my own personal experience; my unit is an officially unlocked unit from optus, australia and when i was back in malaysia for my summer vacation, i had difficulties using the iPhone with maxis (cannot MMS, cannot surf the net et cetera).

plugging it into my iTunes and obtaining the settings, sorted everything out

but make sure that if your locked phone...plz dont restore for 3gs..
