I remember I read somewhere by getting US itunes acct can get USD50 free..I already have US iTunes but no free USD50?

sh#t...just now updated ip4 from 4.1 to 4.2.1 suddenly got error..have to resort by hard reset (power & home) and iP4 unable to open. it shows connect to itunes logo...d#mn...

So now im restoring back...hopefully nothing happen

Now, it show restoring to original setting..OMG

and its not a back-up, its on new OS 4.2.1, whereas when i sync & auto back-up last time (6pm) its on 4.1..pening pening...

owh, i thought i've mention it earlier. its iP4/ iPhone 4 Maxis 1st batch. thanks for the help..

I have done update process many times before from my 3GS to now iP4. only when OS 4.2.1 release, i try update via update tap on i tunes screen, but at the last 10 second download to complete network error, and this happen 2 times. So this time I download the OS4.2.1 fr the flag thread here and install it manually via "Shift+Restore" and select the downloaded OS, and this bad thing happen...

I didn't jailbreak my phone I didn't change host file nor adding saurik server

@ xaw5126 man,I wish I didnt go that far.my office colleague ip4 poisoning me to jb but few times I laugh at him coz got stability issue.and now he gonna laugh me liao..

Oh yeah I notice restore back-up didn't go back to previous OS.Google around seems not only me affected http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1378

hehe, i think im gonna back-up my current state of 4.2.1 to save settings, then reset my phone to become factory setting/ or try install back 4.1, then restore..

Ye la bro.it can't be done. Btw I did follow some recommendation fr apple forum there e.g close push email acct,hard reset few times. Incredibly now my phone run smooth n sound, with a very good battery performance an less heat when heavy surf/playing games compare to 4.1

I think u also got d same prob as mine (refer to my earlier post) when my phone in recovery mode if I'm not mistaken I unplug ip4 and turn off-turn on the phone.then I plug back to iTunes and suddenly my phone in OS 4.2.1
