Date of transaction: March 14 and 29

Need advice on this forumer (Brian)...

OK here's the thing, I have recently deal with this forumer (Brian). Deal with him twice (both my mistake) in two different location.

The first Deal (Devastator)
Date of transaction: March 14-15 (not that sure but around that 2 days la)
Place: In front of Bank in front of IOI Puchong
Deal with him via lyn.. nego punya nego agreed to deal on rm120.
The day we met he negotiated and somehow we got to an agreement of rm100 due to he complain yang my devastator berabuklah, thisla that la... etc.
BUT that day I left the instructions behind so he gave me rm80, and did mention that he will bank in rm20 to my maybank account.
Still waiting for the rm20 to be in my maybank account but still not in yet.

Send SMS but still waiting for him to reply.....

The 2nd Deal (DVD OP)
Date of transaction: March 29

My second mistake was dealing with the same person...
Ok this time, he did not manage to buy the DVD OP BUT he "patahkan" or in simple words he broke the right leg of the DVD OP.
This is how the incident happen.
At first macam orang lain... kalau nak beli dia cakap dia nak test dulu. Reason dia cakap dia nak test whether the thing is in good condition.
So I let him try, try punya try.... PRAK.. he broke the OP.

When the thing happen
1) He did not want to buy
2) He did not want to pay for damages
3) He did not want to help to search for parts

Solution dia....
1) Dia nak tukar with another item (with conditions)
2) Sell to him the OP at less than rm150 - due to the thing is already faulty.
3) Give him the OP so that he can help to sell. Then revenue will be shared.

At the same time, dia dah DEAL dengan satu buyer via Ebay (dia cakap).
1) So, as u know that now the OP has already become a CACAT OP.
2) And the best thing about this deal is that the buyer has already paid for the item and awaiting for the item to be delivered.
3) He contacted the buyer and request for refund BUT the buyer doesn't want to!!
4) The buyer bengang and ask for pictures (as proof)
5) So later.. he contacted me and ask for pictures to help him solve his case...
6) I posted the pic... and showed the defact/tempat patah.
7) Dia tak puas hati... and ask me to lepak with him and discuss on how to help him to solve his problem!!

So fellow forumers... what do u think if u kena the same thing???

For me...
1) aku dah kena tiau... 2 kali plak tu...
2) tension
3) lagi tension sebab dah la rugi, OP patah, duit tak dapat, pastuh dia asyik sms/call sebab nak suruh aku settlekan prob dia!!

So,do u want the buyer to refund u?The 1st mistake is u deal with the same person.U know that the person bad attitude coz not refund the remaining balance.I think he want to take advantage against u.

Yup as i did mention before... it was a mistake at the first place.. when dealing with him....

Bro and any other toys buyer / seller..

when COD, the best way is ;

1. buyer check the condition
2. ask the seller to transform..don't tell me u don't know how to transform the toys if u really a collector. Don't give an excuse you are not a collector if u willing to pay for more than RM300 just for a toys
3. after it has been transform, buyer need to check back the condition. becoz sometime the broken / repaired parts are visible in robot / alternate mode
4. buyer satisfied with the condition (as described before COD)..pay and CHOw

after all i heard alot of collector said that he is the one who bought or scalped from alot of collector item and then play until rosak after that he try to con ppl and sell it

situation 1
he buy bumble bee hasbro for rm 50? because its was close fren ok ok..after that go home he complain..the tf is not misb after all he was open n played with it..he ask for refund because he claim that misb is tampal balik wan..although it is misb bcz i was ther with him...

situation 2
my bad luck..in ebay i sold to him my limited edition megatron rm 150
we agree the item is sold at that price..he nego nego say habuk la..box dent this and tht in the rm 110..

and i saw back his thread..all this while we scalp alot of tf in tru holding 2-3 box...with my frens frm hasbro help now he is selling with 10%extra price..

I noticed that too. I will be not surprised if there r more than 10 victims in this thread.

I nearly dealt with him before. last time he wanted to buy my deep striker, but too fussy so we didnt deal. he said it's for his friend, but I have to give him the deep striker 1st before he bring it to his friend and let him check. if ok then only pay me. Then I ask him why not ask his friend to deal straight with me, he gave a lot of shitty reasons which i already forgot.. and yes he also kept on bargaining the price with me until very dirt cheap.. then he thought maybe i scared he cheat my deep striker away, then started bragging about his good reputation in lelong, say he has lots of good feedbacks blah blah blah... Then he gave me a link to his lelong feedback, but when i click it the link was invalid

my story:
i've dealt my tfu blaster wit him before ... seriously, clearance price... i put rm60 before.. he PMed, nego after nego, we agreed rm50 ...

then the COD day ... met him.. and you know what... he asked for nego some more... rm40 ... that was even before checking it!! i was really annoyed!! i asked, it's firm.. already agreed in PM before COD!!

then i asked him to check 1st... LUCKY HIM!! i forgot to include the manual!! it's BIB stuff, complete wit everything.. but the manual was at home, forgot to include in the box...

so he bargained, he pay rm40 1st.. then after got the manual, RM5 later... somehow he wanted to nego for RM45 pulak ....

arghh.. i was so fedup!! so i said ok laa.. RM40, then i promised him to pos the manual to his address ...

after a week i think, he confirmed got the manual ... i asked for the balance... he said later ...
and seriously, his later is demm late!! took about a week!! that too after few SMSes !!

arghh!! tension i ... huh!!

lucky i avoided dealing wit him again... he wanted to buy my air rid primal ... and asked me to bring before agreeing any price ... he said wanna check the item 1st.. it's for his cousin he said (anybody got same reason like this before?) ..

i asked if wanna meet, better in subang.. im not that free to go far ... he insisted again and again to meet at amcorp... again, he's annoying me ...

thank god later my air rid primal got reserved by serious buyer.. non fussy.. and also a fren at transformers.com.my ...

TRUST ME... whoulove IS FUSSY AS HELL!!! he will do anything to get as low price as he want!!!

my story.

sold to him Hasbro BB & Barricade twin pack BIB and 3 misc TFs (but i forgot the initial price). but since i am clearing my shelf so i willing to sell it dirt cheap. more like selling BB&Bari TP and FREE 3 tf to him for RM60, yes, RM60. but same reason he used nego with me like with you guys (dusty, condition no good, etc etc). but since already COD, i just kasi close deal and forget abt it.

then reach home at night after work, he sms me back and say how bad the 3misc TF condition is and asking for refund. i was like, WTH i sell so cheap and still wan refund. after all, he INSPECTED the tf on the spot and agree to buy. its a mutual agreement. in the end, i told him that if he want refund so desperately, i willing to give rm5 as compensation and at that point of time, i know i wont deal with him anymore. but then somehow this refund havent kawtim and i already change my phone for fewtimes.. even his phone number i oso forgot (partly he didnt sms me his bank account, and i only remember this guy when i saw the dispute with shaun). if he still want my rm5, i dont mind giving him. after all, rm5 is cheap to know someone's character.

Alo geng.. 1stly I would personally like to thank all of you for the comments that you have made... coz based on your comments some got share the same experience that I have been through with Brian...

Guys do keep in mind that the main reason I created this thread is that I want to share my BAD experience that I had with Brian....
- NOT to ask for him to repay (no use one coz with this type of people u surely wont get one...) tapi kalau nak bayar aku lagi suka.. hehe..

- NOT to simply bad mouth him

BUT what I type was based on what I personally experience from him coz seriously I myself cannot tahan already. Dah lah beli devastator aku kat price yg ciput giler... pastu tanak kasi balance lagi... Pastu patahkan OP aku (tak pasal2 aku tak dapat nak jual OP tu)... last skali... almost every day he will call / sms me for me to help him to solve his problem!!! tension beb aku cakap ngan korang...

As a muslim, he himself should know that nowadays Allah (God Almighty) will simply pay cash one!! Especially to the bad people...
AND he should know better that "what he did to me or other fellow forumers will give an IMPACT on his life sooner or later".. coz I myself belief in what we muslim call (Qada' & Qadar)

Lastly I really hope that he will provide us some feedback...

Deal with whoulove before along with his GF and i have to admit his GF is quite a hottie. he's so damn lucky. well, that's about his GF.

me have no personal vendetta against whoulove. dealt with him like 4 times. haven't heard from him for a long time now.

1st deal :

He bought from me a vintage Alien figure. that time i'm selling it for RM 20. so we exchanged PMs and agreed on RM 15. so i went down to COD with him along with Endless who happened to COD with for loose Titanium Soundwave too.

So i saw him bagaining with Endless as he said the figure was loose and got scratches. then when it comes to me, he inspected the figure and ask for more price reduction until RM 5 as he claimed this item was old and got many scratches and playwear. so we agreed for RM 10. i was quite frustrated that time as i think RM 10 only worth my fuel going there for COD. well, i let it go.

2nd deal :

This time he bought from me 2 vintage Predator figures and 1 alien figure. i'm selling those for RM 15 each. and heck, we nego in PM and agreed upon RM 10 each. so when we met and he inspected the figures, he asked for RM 5 each. owh heck. i felt like i'm very stupid that time but i let those figures to him for RM 25.

3rd deal :

This time is for my Transformers FAB Frenzy. i put it on ebay that time for RM 30. he contacted me and agreed on the price (again? lol) so he wanted me to end the sale on ebay as soon as he bidded the toy. well, that time i was a noob and didn't know i can end it quickly so i only managed to change the end date until left only one day. the problem is, got other people also bid until RM 60 and eventually he won it. so we meet and he asked me to sell it for the initial price which is RM 30. and still asked for me to discount further as it is a loose figure but this time me buat kepala batu. so i sold to him RM 30 since i've agreed to that price too in the 1st place. i'm a man who kept my word, not the kind of guy who changes his like changing a napkin.

4th deal @ final deal :

i'm selling off my Transformers micromasters Rayden. this time, i brought a friend who also a past victim of his scheme. cut story short, as usual, the best part, bargaining process. with the presence of my friend, he couldn't bargained like he always did before probably too shy in front of his victim. plus i'm sticking to the price and be kepala batu. and in the end he couldn't get the discount plus cannot ask for more as this figures in a very perfect condition.

Whoulove@Bryan, i have no personal vendetta towards u. seriously. i enjoy dealing with u. i can give discount but u have to be logical too in asking for discount. RM 5 or RM 10 are still ok but until RM 30 to 50 is way too much already. i've heard a lot about u and i keep on being silent about it. asking for discount after agreeing a price is an unethical way of doing business. i might be able to tolerate it but until i heard from a friend of mine who being cheated by u, i just can't keep quiet anymore. u can be a friend, i'm really sure of that. But in business, u're just creating a mess out of yourself.

if not mistaken the victim friend whom kamkam brought to meet saper-ko-cinta (skc) bought this thing from skc without being informed/warned that is a KO, at regular Alternator price.

saper-ko-cinta, the TF circle is very small, news spreads very rapidly.

I remember clearly that when I told u can nego and can I see the devastator before I commit u say its FINE , can show and no problem blabla…. And the price at rm100 I also DID NOT FORCE you or HARD BEG or HARD bargain, and you say ok la bro its fine ill give you rm100 due to because this la and that… and your KIND enough to give me rm100, and to be frank with you , you are really GREAT actor , you showed how frenly you are and nice you are and how chin chai you are( before and after the deal ) ,… but now in the end you f@#* and STAB me at the back like this ? seriously I never even thought of this !

And u blame me for pushing yr price ? The story from my part .

That day we met up at Jaya 33 , and cod there. After a short happy FRENLY chat ( so CALLED frenly , now that I know ) , we proceed to our deal , which is on the MP OP .

Like usual , when buying such expensive collection , ill check and make sure everythings fine , and its 2nd hand loose unit, so isn’t it my right to check it ? while transforming, suddenly the leg button ( small part – THE TANK beside, wher u press the tank to allow the leg to push in and out to transform alt mode ) broken , which I DIDN’T APPLY hard force on it ! and to highlight I have 2 MP01 myself, and I know how the transformation are and im pretty confident and well with playing / transform it. AND especially masterpiece I will take very precaution while handling it !

Then the tank broken , and making the leg doesn’t have a clip to make sure the leg hangs on there . so the worst scenario is here ! he was shocked and I was totally shocked and surprise and worst still devastated by the incident. For yr info hamster , I myself felt HEART BROKEN to see that fig broken even though it’s a small part! U do not know how a realy pure collector feels !

And then we end up , having to discuss what we are suppose to do on this deal. Of coz usually if asked any one the one that broken it shud pay ( which initially I did not agree,; 290309 to pay , but later I wanting to pay BUT YOU hamster DON’T WANT !!!, ; 11/04/09 , and now you accuse me and blame me for what your action ????? )

I log on yesterday and did not post reply . coz I was preparing this long explanations … and plus with my work.. I had to also stayed back quite late just to make this thing clear… not like what madstone claim that I don have the guts to explain ! y do u have such points to me ?

Before meeting up , you guys did not mentioned strictly firm and NO DISCOUNTS, shud I be fully blame for it ? the best part is … to act as a nice person u all showed good and nice and frenly attitude , and never even bother or say all this things to me.

Come on guys , I never even forced u all to give me a discounts, im just asking for it nicely and frenly. Of coz I really hope I cud get that discounts. But I have know that it hurts u all then I wouldn’t have done it . I did not do it intentionally .

I would like to suggest something , this is good for every one , maybe u guys could give me a suggestion/ ideas as well :

1) would be very happy to arrange a meet up with all of the involved parties ( also those not involved also fine ) , to just come out meet up , treat it as a gathering. Express to me and fire out all yr ammos… I would gladly listen and admit wrong , and as well explained abit just to make things clear. With that also, I don mind to treat everyone yam cha ( pls don’t get me wrong , my intention is not BUYING you all from just a cup of tea ) this is just to make things clear, and lets be fren fren and to know all my mistakes and turn out for me to better up myself to be a better person ( pls understand that , ppl tend to make mistake and do not know that they have made mistake until/and when they made it , when damage done )

with that also , I will return / refund what ever money I owe .

2) another way is … if you guys all of u feels that im really too much and have CON a lot ppls money n felt that I should not be in this forum, and after all the sincere apologise that I made cant be accepted by this community then by all means I think you guys shud ask mod to bann me. Hamster MP OP , he told me himself that he did not know the condition , he himself never transform it even after he bought it. After he bought it , he just put on display. Kawan , if u r me , n u really did not apply hard force and the thing broke just like that what will u do ??? tell me honestly deep from yr heart ( don coz of this issue u say definitely u will PAY ) ….

After that I even keep offer hamster and talk nicely kindly that I want to pay for it and buy it . coz the ebayer that wants to buy it DOES NOT MIND THE condition of the broken leg part. Even I have told him many and many times , but he insist he wants it . even I offer to refund the money to him , he doesn’t want it and prefer to get the item. Despite I have told him its broken and I would rather not sell him. But coz he likes the item so much he wants it.

I nicely and kindly kept smsin/calling hamster trying to offer to solve this issue and wanting to responsible buy it ( did I hamster ? ) , but maybe due to his busy work schedule he seems doesn’t want to reply or entertain me. Regarding loose joint.. yes sometimes its "more than meets the eyes". From pictures, can't see loose joints. Only during COD and item inspection.. can test this lo.

Regarding berhabuk... c'mon.. its just habuk which can be wiped clean. We're in Malaysia, hot and humid. But let them buyer know first before COD.


If the buyer hell-bent in getting discount, he'll say anything from the above to the "poor" workmanship quality (like poorly painted details/minor smearing). If any buyer of mine complaint on poor workmanship, I'll definitely shoot them back . As a collector/buyer, don't they know the average quality of majority off-the-shelf-transformers-mass-produced-by-underpaid-peasants"?

If many sellers complaint the same thing on one single buyer attitude, bet it must be his modus-operandi - "COD then ask for discount . Some seller no choice coz already waste $$ going out to meet the buyer".

i have to disagree with this dude.
when you're selling, it's your responsibility to clean the toys. i always clean my stuff before selling 'em. good and honourable practice, i'd say.

as buyer, well i've bought a dusty alt sideswipe before. it was really dusty, but the joints and conditions is pretty accurate to the descriptions, so yeah, i still take it, didn't even ask FOR DISCOUNT just because of dust.

so yeah there are certain things that can be accepted, but some are just plain.....WTFish? like in this case.

my thoughts:
buyer must pay for it. we all know the broken part is not that fragile. if you go into a shop, you tried playing with some expensive stuff and you broke it, what happens then? i'm sure the shop WILL NOT sell the item to you at dirt low price. this is common business practice.

sometimes, even a slight dust.. if in his mind only asking for more discount.. he will try to find anything that can make reason for ...

In TF toy market there are only a select few toys that able to be goreng-ed till it can fetch price higher than suggested retail . Onlya handful in recent years. As a collector yourself , I'm suprised you don't know this bare fact.

Even some MISB toys that initially thought will be in "great" demand.... ended up discounted by toy shops ( Predaking, Metroplex, Starconvoy anyone?).

i know what you meant, but the cleaning is still the seller's responsibility(that's what i'm trying to stress). u want to sell something, try to keep it as clean as possible, right? and yes, it's the seller's responsibility to state the conditions clearly too.

as a buyer however, dust is not really an issue if you wish it. but asking for rm10 or more discount just because of dust....that's too much. if it's too dusty for your eyes, ask the seller to clean before COD, easy as that. if seller refuses, it falls back to "customer is always(well almost) right".

I highly disagree with this statement. I bought a few things here and most of the stuff were really hard to find. But ALL the sellers were nice enough to let them go well below cost and 'market' price. Mind you the conditions of the items were great. Some like new.

I think the issue here hamster wants sape-ko-cinta to pay for the dvd op at his original price pre-broken but since its broken s-k-c wants to pay for lower price and hamster reject. Perhaps that was the misunderstanding, by rejecting s-k-c offered price s-k-c got the message that hamster doesn't want to sell to him anymore but the truth is hamster do not want to sell at s-k-c suggested price! "not want to sell at the price" and "not want top sell at all" are two different things. hamster wants s-k-c to pay for the broken op dvd at a pre-broken/battle-damaged price, am-I-rite?

it's up to the buyer to complain / nego on dust matter and it's up to seller to accept / decline.

i personally would just clean up the goods and when seller want to complain such petty matter i'll just say "look, it's just dust! c'mon, it's not damaged goods or anything. fine i'm sorry it's still a little dirty but you're getting at good price already. what else do you want?"

- me meeting him up discuss on how much he wants me to compensate or how much I should pay, then I pay to him and get the OP
- then after getting the OP , I can post the item to the buyer asap, as I have received his money , and I have no intention to con his money . and its still pending for delivery. And the buyer clearly mentioned HE DO NOT MIND the broken part despite I have emailed him the picture hamster gave. Of coz with a different buying price ( which means after getting hamster OP , I have to post to him, and also refund a lil money to buyer for the compensation )
- im doing all this just to have a WIN WIN situation for every 1 , just trying to please hamster me and d ebay guy…. Is that wrong ?
