ok people. i got a little hope for you all.

i was stucked in 115.134 ip for few months and it really SUX. according to shitmyx my DSLAM only got 115 and 218 IP but i NEVER got 218 before. yday i called few calls & email to 100, NOC team, MCMC...shoot them really kao kao...keep pushing them to work....complaint to NOC directly...

and guess what, today i received FEW calls from them to ensure that my problem is solved. then i came back home and check.

TADAAAAAA!!!!!!! now i can get 218 ip and it ROXXX!!!!! ping time is much better than 115.....youtube HD videos can load smoothly (4mb user).

refer to my previous post on the progress of whole case. after 4 months + of effort and numerous phone calls+email..FINALLY I GOT RID OF 115 SUCKY IP!!!!!!!! HELLLL YEAH!!!!!!!

lol..... 218.xx ip..... i hav used it long time ago..... it rox.... but after i change to 4mb line..... i never see this ip b4...

sigh..... maybe i should pester those tmnut ppl....

1 weird thing i found out is let say now i am on 218.111.0.77 ip....then i disconnect and reconnect...i will get 218.111.0.78....then i reconnect again...i get 218.111.0.79

some kind of tracing working behind shitmyx?

but anyway this is definitely one of my luckiest day. NOW I AM STUCK IN 218 IP AND I AM GOD DAMN HAPPY WITH IT!

Good for you roy_pck. Do you know why you finally got a better connection? Because you persisted and got through to the right people who can actually solve the problem for you. Not like the support at 100. I hope people here can now see why I've been trying to say we must all get through to the right people or management. See my post #1117 and post #1240 from Suk .

No point complaining here. We all know connections are slow, but we keep posting the same thing. If you really want, spend your time trying to contact the right people and see if your problem can be solved like roy_pck. The more people who complain to the right people, the better the chances our connections may improve.

Added on April 24, 2009, 12:53 amNothing weird. Your account has been allocated to be on a small IP range subnet, and not to a larger dynamic IP range.

Can you post some speed test result to US or UK etc server, not just to KL server?

Thank you for the results. I don't think people are jealous of you, but don't brag too much or else people will get annoyed with you... You are not the only one as MX510 says his friend also in the same situation.

So far so good. If you are in the 60.49.x cluster, try rolling for that IP, at least you have 75% of efficiency to your browsing and productivity. I cant do speedtest since i am current using 100% of the bandwidth to clear up my on going piling projects.

hmm this is weird well i reconnected and got 60.52.x.x and the connection to the certain us servers are back to normal so im guessing it's only 60.53.x.x i wonder why :S it's the best ip for "me" since i cant get 60.54 so i hope all is well :S
