currently everything is running smoothly. no noise, no slowdown... will monitor the condition for a couple of week before confirmation. *cross my fingger*

i just read the instruction online on the swapping and reinstalling the harddisk.

understand what needed to be done and jump. hahahaha

its rather easy, even a monkey can do it.
you just need the right tools for the right job. (correct size screwdriver).

everything is clear cut all that you must decide is how to transfer the old data from the old HDD to your new one.

Hi guys, my superdrive is getting wonky. And i'm thinkin of removing it alltogether and add another hard disk at its place. My question is;

1.where can i find the data doubler in malaysia?

2. If were to repair it. How much would it cost?

Brw im using the late 2009 mpb 13"

but if you only get much space without the increase of speed. it would be quite lagging. no point to get 1 tb of space if its take a couple of minutes accessing it. lol
