That depends what model. Older model have only one physical button in the middle. Try to adjust your click closer to middle it should work. Else a take apart cleaning and adjustment for the trackpad are needed.

I have a 15inch MacBook Pro (mid 2010) that restarts itself whenever I use the dedicated GPU, but works perfectly fine on integrated GPU.

Is it possible to fix a laptop like this ?

My MBP 2012's trackpad goes cuckoo all the time, had to disable and use magic mouse instead. Is it a wiring problem?

Hi, Im currently using MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Bought May 2015 from Apple Online store). Noted the screen become stained today after clean with wet tissue and damp cloth, most probably damaged antiglare coating? First time seeing this happen. Such heartache. Warranty expired. Am i eligible to claim for a fix at authorized apple service centre? Noted similar issue with other Macbook users. Thanks.

Hi bro, I bought mine February 2015 also having the same problem though mine is so teruk on the sides

I also read that Apple acknowledges this issue (though I dunno how is it like in M'sia) but I've never rectify it yet personally with Apple. Scared they might just take my laptop in and I will not have anything to do my work on

I'm also afraid the longer I delay the less chances I'll have on getting this fixed.

Like you, I also highly appreciate other sifus opinions on this matter

Edited : Found this thread and I'm gonna do exactly what the TS did. You should try too

I recommend send to "Apple Authorized Service provider" such as mac city. I asked them before for my macbook pro retina is around RM 700, maybe Macbook air is lees than that prices smile.gif

Hi guys,

I have a late 2009 27in iMac and the graphics card has gone kaput. Is it worthwhile to replace the graphics card and how much will it cost? Or is it better to just buy something new. Thanks.

I read somewhere that if our iphone screen got big scratch (read:retak), there is a chemical that can help repair it.

Should be cheaper option than replacing the screen right?

Worthwhile or not is a very subjective question. For repair, you have to weight in other components' age and lifespan.
To buy new, you looking at RM7.6k min for new 27-inch iMac. For sure, if budget not a question, it's always good to get a new replacement.

Usually this issue only affect units that have logic board replaced. Try doing the basic troubleshooting, like reset SMC and PRAM.

You will need to visit a Apple Authorised Service Centre to get them rewrite the serial number back to the board. Or you can make an appointment with us.
