wanna ask u....what is needed to do alignment except for the machine?

Possibly to fix your over-spec negative camber in the rear axle, you'd need (hopefully) shim plates to reset back the camber angle. Ask a good mechanic to inspect the rear axle assembly and how the wheels pivot. But AFAIK, Proton introduced the negative camber in the Saga is to reduce the onset of snap-oversteer ( a problem with the old saga and it's torsion tube axle). But if lopsided, definitely an issue

aha..wiki

Camber angle alters the handling qualities of a particular suspension design; in particular, negative camber improves grip when cornering. This is because it places the tire at a more optimal angle to the road, transmitting the forces through the vertical plane of the tire, rather than through a shear force across it. Another reason for negative camber is that a rubber tire tends to roll on itself while cornering. If the tire had zero camber, the inside edge of the contact patch would begin to lift off of the ground, thereby reducing the area of the contact patch. By applying negative camber, this effect is reduced, thereby maximizing the contact patch area. Note that this is only true for the outside tire during the turn; the inside tire would benefit most from positive camber.

Which is a detailed explanation on why Proton introduced negative camber on the rear axle. But nice to know some do bother to read up

our blm alloy 14 inch + tyre are usually around this trade in value rm500/600/700/800

lastime was offered rm700 for 3 months old saga rim+tyre. and finally was offered 600 for 4 month old.

Depends on mileage and which shops u go smile.gif

so u need to top up based on price of new rim+tyre sets minus the old rim

That's very basic mind you. I haven't even started about roll centres and camber offsets

so will a sport spring like GAB prevent the tire from touching the body since it is harder(but shorter)? or i should make do with 185/55/r15 tires?
