QUOTE(smokey @ May 5 2009, 10:46 AM) im already on profile 50 tires la... and im talking about 185/55/r15 tires... 50 also kena fender ke? im using secondhand 55...i dun care if it hits...thinking changing to 50 later as long as i didnt feel weird Added on May 5, 2009, 11:17 amQUOTE(SiuYi @ May 5 2009, 10:05 AM) fuzzywuzzy they dun change, they spray.spray shops can do that for u, agong speaks bisness. smokey get a harder spring or a 50 tyre..55 is giving u a reliable hit below the mudguard. harder spring....need to sacrifice comfort This post has been edited by xshiro: May 5 2009, 12:35 PM

QUOTE(smokey @ May 5 2009, 09:51 AM) so will a sport spring like GAB prevent the tire from touching the body since it is harder(but shorter)? or i should make do with 185/55/r15 tires? The chances are still there as it's dictated by the suspension travel allowable. In this case in order to be 100% sure that it won't sink past fender scrubbing point, I'd suggest you install those coil spring compression limiter which looks like a a piece of rubber wrapped around the coil.

QUOTE(smokey @ May 5 2009, 02:09 PM) xhiro, u use 185/55 or 195/55? 195/55/15...haha...im worried also... 195/50 is like few percent shorter sidewall than the standard 14inch tyre....and almost same diameter like that also kena mudguard? something wrong with ur spring or ur camber we need tyre expert...rim offset also affect?

smokey 185 or 195, got ntg to do with the height..its the width of the surface contact for ur tyres.ur suspension got problem?ur having stock suspensions, right?
seriously, 50 wont give u the hit, but weird, urs kena.standard size used for most members are 185/50/r15..the other would be 195/45/r16..if im not wrong.

185 or 195 does have an effect on the 50 or 55. 50 and 55 is the percentage of 185 or 195. so of coz wider tyres with 55 meaning u have taller sidewall than a 185 tyre with 55.
