QUOTE(ozone2008 @ Apr 6 2009, 09:39 AM) you can always do your homework first in case hotlink is gonna call you. just prepare the basic info of what you do in college. they wont blacklist you, for god sake. you're a client! They want your moneyo'rly? well, instead of using the student card to register myself, i'd rather ask my friend to register, then give the sim card to me

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Apr 6 2009, 10:09 AM) Who say they won't? Just in a situation where you are a postpaid subscriber and your payment in pending for long. Then your name would be blacklisted yeah, but postpaid n prepaid is two different thing. maxis blacklisted my wife for postpaid but prepaid is ok

For MMU Melaka students, a HYC roadshow is ongoing at in front of Ixora food court. I'm not sure how much is the SIM pack or plan conversion can be done there. Check it out yourself. I must say Hotlink is not as aggressive as what DiGi has done to its D' Campus plan in MMU Melaka. Almost everywhere we can see yellow shirt people but this time only few red shirt people are walking around. They don't look interested to sell their product. Since most MMU students have D' Campus as their secondary line, most of them just showed a "no" sign to these HYC promoters.

QUOTE(monara @ Apr 6 2009, 02:35 PM) so what is their 1st line mainly? if its hotlink, then they can register it right... Well, three telcos are kinda distributed quite evenly in MMU, of course Maxis and DiGi are leader. Yeah, we are TM university but all lecturers are given Celcom lines... Kind of minority of students using Celcom. The problem is whenever the Hotlink promoters approach them, they straight show a decline sign. I think that's the reason these promoters are not motivated to promote HYC.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Apr 6 2009, 04:50 PM) Very soon they will know what's HYC is dun worry The problem is like the students are not giving them chances to explain at all. Straight showing a hand gesture declining them. Just now I saw these promoters sitting by the road side holding brochures, look so demotivated.

just went to register with the dealer at my uni area. surprisingly, the shop person told me.. 'u want to buy a new pack or not?' 'if u buy a new pack, u can straight away enjoy for 4 years low rates' 'if not(means use the existing hotlink number), u can only enjoy the low rates for ONE year' anyone can justify this? confused as the hotlink website stated all can enjoy it for 4 years...
