the only downside as follows

- only open to student from selected university (celcom uox/sox open to all below 26, no matter if you're only finished studying primary school only hehe)

- only can enjoy this rates for 4 years (celcom uox/sox can enjoy as long as you're still below 26 years old

- no free call/sms (digi dcampus offer free after hit certain usage everyday)

- no special data plan (digi dcampus offer unlimited data at rm30 per month, while celcom uox/sox offer weekly unlimited rm20 and daily unlimited rm6)

- bad network service quality (too subjective to be discussed, but i heard a lot of complains recently)

- careline is not free (celcom and digi offer free careline)

- no special plan if upgrade to postpaid after this (digi dcampus offer special graduate postpaid plan)
but, whatever the downside is, the cheap call and sms rates still will be the main attractive point for Hotlink Youth Club hehe..  sweat.gif

rm10/year is okay.. but if you reload less than rm10 per year  hmm.gif .. erm maybe you should not use handphone at all..  sweat.gif

I'm a user for both UOX and Hotlink Youth Club! I'm utilizing the feature of sms-ing celcom number for 1 sen (using UOX) and sms-ing maxis/hotlink numbers for 1 sen (using Youth Club).

UOX is slightly expensive if you compare both. Just slight, not much.

But, Celcom is more generous because they keep on announcing surprise bonus for topup on certain days on the month in the newspapers.
(Top up RM 30 get RM10)
(Top up RM 50 get RM20)
(Top up RM 100 get RM50)
hotlink has that too, but not as generous as celcom...

But i'm using both, I have no complain! hehe icon_rolleyes.gif rclxms.gif cool.gif whistling.gif

*Praying hard* But just the other day there was on Hotlink booth in the IT college doing some promotions with quite a few N85 phones. It think it's the WAP and 3G services or something like that.
*
somehow or another, UNITEN is not in the list of hotlink.

check it out!

i dunno man.. i for one wouldn't wanna be put in a shitty situation where the hotlink staffs ask me 'my' course related questions when i wasn't even studying there.

Risks of being blacklisted overrules..
*
you can always do your homework first in case hotlink is gonna call you. just prepare the basic info of what you do in college.

they wont blacklist you, for god sake. you're a client! They want your money

Who say they won't? Just in a situation where you are a postpaid subscriber and your payment in pending for long. Then your name would be blacklisted  laugh.gif
*
yeah, but postpaid n prepaid is two different thing. maxis blacklisted my wife for postpaid but prepaid is ok

Can anyone confirm on the issue that 1 person can register 2 numbers? My sister's number is registered under my name so if that is possible, the hassle of going to maxis centre to transfer ownership is not required.
*
you can register 2 lines using the same name. I read this on the hotlink youth club T&C page
