I was just about to post this topic also ... is it really 1 sen per sms to EVERY hotlink/maxis number and only 5 sen per sms to other operators? Coz then my Activ10 will be meaningless right?

It really is real! Cool man! Check ur expiry date also, got extended to 2013 right?

By the way, how to determine the campus location?

Sadly, it's 30 secs per block. But still, it's better than the previous rates

I thought it is standardised to be 30 seconds per block. DiGi is using 30 seconds per block too.
The 60 seconds per block is sucking blood like hell.

but why it is a sad news about the 30 seconds block? i thought it should be good right?
and who is eligible to this? how to activate?

I dunno, I'm used to the 30 secs per block, only said it's sad coz fruitie mentioned 60 seconds block lol

It is standardised... Unless, you guys want something like U-Mobile, 1 second/block.

I'm not sure if you are aware, Hotlink is still using 60 seconds/block.

it doesnt matter anymore. Last time hotlink zone must be within campus now on or off also special rate

what does the "on campus' and "off campus' means?

means within your college/UNI area u get special rate. When not in college/UNI area normal rate.

NOW anywhere in malaysia also special rate

But the comparison chart only show 1 price woh

Hotlink used to have Hotlink zones whereby students in selected universities can get cheap call rate.
With this new Hotlink Youth Club, it doesn't matter now because both in campus and off campus = everywhere is having one flat rate.

its not one flat rate its at a discounted rate.

sms to digi or other telco used to be 15cents. Now with this youth hotlink club its only 6 cents

now this plan easily dwarfing other telcos..hehe.
i read, students need to register to their dealers...in each campus...

if you are already activated the hotlink zone. U will automatic convert to hotlink youth club

really? how did u know...
i went to their site, they just expain briefly, not going into details about this plan..
even no tnc or faq yet...

i know because my validity expires at 2013 when it should be 2009

Yeah, the only advantages D' Campus are having is the free unlimited call within campus zone and unlimited data line for RM 30/month.
U.O.X. is not having the cheapest rate already.
Hopefully with Hotlink's latest plan can generate more competitions to other telcos to benefit all the users.

I believe Maxis is aware that most of its teenage users are using Hotlink prepaid and quite a number of them have migrated to other telcos. Finally, they saw that. Good.
