Hello smile.gif i would like to ask, is it possible to run parallels on an external hard disk? Has anyone done it yet? Coz i would like to preserve as much disk space on my laptop as possible. Thx.

legally it should be retail pack. OEM only comes bundled with a brand new PC.

just sharing... ;-) last year im using bootcamp but that a lot of prob with driver such as no multitouch, no right click and etc. earlier this year i installed Parallels and its working perfectly... the files on both desktop are same. you can simply transfer 1 to another and many more. i love PD!

@ape,
How much memory did you installed on your Mac mini?
if it's only 2GB, perhaps you shud bump the RAM to 4GB or even 8GB(for unibody Mac mini).

Installing Windows in Bootcamp will be much more better in performance as the Windows will take full advantage on the hardware by not sharing it with Mac OS.

my MBP have the same spec as u but i dont get any lag in win7 fusion3. i suspect pd6 performance should be better. maybe can try increase the RAM for pd6 to 2gb or so. should be somewhere in the settings
