yea, less air intake when the airflow has increased. If not the air-fuel ratio will be too lean.

so the air intake-to-carb-setting for modified exhaust should be lesser than standard pipe?

idle fuel screw will increase fuel supply for idling up to 1/8 throttle only. The leftover is dependent on the needle jet and mainjet.

so tuning idle fuel screw won't help much to gain performance?
usually how many turn for the idle fuel screw?

No specific setting. Just tune until a level that you feel good when cruising. If add too much, your idling speed will be very high.

yesterday installing 24mm Uma Racing carb into my bike. Still didn't get the best setting for mainjet. the air-fuel mixture too rich. but already done rough test on road. The result is great. i can feel the torque higher on 2nd and 3rd gear.
3rd gear can reach 120kph, while 4th gear can reach 140kph at 1/2 throttle.
i was laughing while testing it...
still haven't test the top speed since the best setting not yet obtain but i think the result would be around 150-160kph only since the racing carb didn't improve torque at higher rpm....
the test above was done on stock block, stock engine, stock cdi, stock exhaust, removed airbox and 15-40 sprocket (428 chain).

How about the needle position?

* high rpm power needs 28mm carb, 24mm just increase torque from mid-low to mid-high *
