To address to your question Kyl3, the cable isn't included in the price of the amp itself. biggrin.gif
(well at least, that's what I was told)

Good thing I have funded enough for the amp, and extra. Bwahahahahaha!!! Maybe I should get bacon salt after getting the amp. laugh.gif

yesterday i had passed the cable to yuheng....
and he is seriously poisoned by my PK2 + ibasso boa.
lol
the amp price don't comes with my cable.wait for walabies to sell it bundle. it is way cheaper than get the cable alone as i think wala they will cut profit of the secret amp to make overall package cheaper.

Expect a short first impression review in a couple hour's time. Gonna give it a full impression review after I have given it about 100 odd hours. wink.gif

Gonna attempt to get my hands on a DSLR for better pics later in the day. wink.gif

Other than that, I'm doing some serious listening on my unit now. tongue.gif

Managed to finally get my hands on The Secret Amp after following its progress since the prototype stages.
Here are some eye candy of White Zune 30GB >> Silver Interconnect >> The Secret >> Darth Beyer V3.0

Initial impressions are the amp is able to control the bass slam of my Darth Beyers, making it more refined
and not as bloated. The details are also coming out more clearly coupled with the Beyer's original separation
and details makes it a good match with the sound signature of the Darth Beyers. I've also tried pairing
it with my AKG K171 Studio and it's able to drive it properly and present the details and bring out the bass
which many people feel the AKG lacks...

As I said just initial impressions, will try and post further after burning it in. Maybe the more experienced
audiophilers who have managed to get their hands on their respective amps can post more detailed and
helpful reviews...

Alright guys, my short impression review. smile.gif

1 word.
Grab this amp guys while you can.

My MS-1 was enhanced with more depth, slightly more width in its soundstage, but the separation and the depth is just CLEAR! The overall presentation is much more musical, bass is very well controlled here, doesn't goes over the top but it gives the low range a nice kick with a little bit of extension, low-midrange has significantly became a slight tad warmer, very immersive soundstage.

Had a short SHP9000 test wth it, results are about the same as above, however couldn't further test it as I have a small volume knob problem. (SHP9000 bloody hard to drive!) But hey, will be meeting up yuheng to hopefully get this fixed. biggrin.gif And to get my PcWork cable next up. brows.gif

All done with gain on high and secret on the left (when you're facing the secret switch)

ADD: Will get on more information once my amp is pass the 100 hour mark, hopefully I can get my amp fixed before that though. >_> Burn in time at the moment is about 12 hours. smile.gif

Sh*t.

I am not sure if it's just me or what, but the amp seems to have been "opening up" after 20 hours of burn in. Now it's sounding much more spacious and transparent, especially between the vocals and instruments played.

>_> My MS-1 had been on my head for nearly 3 hours now. Can't stop myself from listening. Argh.

Do drop me a beep when you pass yuheng the cables ya. smile.gif Trying to plan out some time so I could meet him up. Had been loads busy these days. *sigh*
