Alright guys, my short impression review. smile.gif

1 word.
Grab this amp guys while you can.

My MS-1 was enhanced with more depth, slightly more width in its soundstage, but the separation and the depth is just CLEAR! The overall presentation is much more musical, bass is very well controlled here, doesn't goes over the top but it gives the low range a nice kick with a little bit of extension, low-midrange has significantly became a slight tad warmer, very immersive soundstage.

Had a short SHP9000 test wth it, results are about the same as above, however couldn't further test it as I have a small volume knob problem. (SHP9000 bloody hard to drive!) But hey, will be meeting up yuheng to hopefully get this fixed. biggrin.gif And to get my PcWork cable next up. brows.gif

All done with gain on high and secret on the left (when you're facing the secret switch)
ADD: Will get on more information once my amp is pass the 100 hour mark, hopefully I can get my amp fixed before that though. >_> Burn in time at the moment is about 12 hours. smile.gif
*
Alright thumbup.gif

Any gathering soon Pcwork, yuheng, walabies?? I'll like to listen to this amp again..

I would love to offer myself to help out on audits actually. smile.gif Sadly, my amp seems to be having a slight bug on it when will require some fixing. Doesn't do the amp any justice to be auditing my amp at the moment. >_<

>_> My MS-1 had been on my head for nearly 3 hours now. Can't stop myself from listening. Argh.

Do drop me a beep when you pass yuheng the cables ya. smile.gif Trying to plan out some time so I could meet him up. Had been loads busy these days. *sigh*
*

hmm a good amp nevertheless..for price and cost performance wise
btw icyfawkes and fans of westone this maybe yur salvation to yur w3....
the westone 3sx custom....with powerful bass and great high that w3 is lacking and more wider soundstage.....
compare to ue11 and acs-t1 this 1 of the best custom iem i have tried..... thumbup.gif
*
hmm ok guys i had to give proper reviews on 3 highest custom iems here...
some 1 wanted to get either 1 of these
Ue11, Acs-T1 and westone ES3X
Ue11 is most prominent bass custom iems that i ever heard....
Dynamic, punchy deep bass like a freaking subwoofer in yur ears sweat.gif i heard it for 5 mins with my portable rigs and imo it is too much for me, bass is hitting my head like a freaking tin can being crushed by a Tank....
imagine pairing it with Diablo or Rsa products.....dun like it straightway cos it too colored for me and too bright for me to handle...
hard acytic mold shell well make my ears feel hot for 1 to 2 hours and i had to let my ears cool down lol

Acs-T1 is something like senheiiser or stax , veilly and dark soundsignature
it has the details, transparency and hall accoustics as Ue11 but more controlled bass and airry
in short sentence, i like it on spot when i got it..... perfectly pair with neutral amp like Iqube
gave me smooth, laidback and details like i wanted for my modded sen650
terms of advantages it has the soft molded silicon which i can wear for 8 hours straight and doesnt give me any uncomfortable feeling

The westone ES3X is the same categories as 2 above, details, transparency and great soundstage
it has opposite soundsignature compare to Acs-T1, bright, fast, and like Beyers and Audio Technica series
the highs r slighty harsh for me but in terms in highs categories, it is unbeatable......with exceptionally good deep bass as the ACS
it has same transparency as acs but somehow a slightly edging attacking on upper mid and upper highs
in a short sentence, basshead should get UE11 for ultimate bass response
For classicals ,vocals lovers, and slow musics , get the Acs-T1 for ultimate listening pleasure
ES3X is all rounder with no exception should be able to satisfies any serious audiophile who want best of both worlds....
balanced and neither laidback like acs or bass heavy like Ue11
comfort wise, same like hard acytic mold shell which some of users complained hot as hell and need take it out to rest yur ears

lol yesterday too tired and been listening to my modded akg 701 to mark it's progress.....
did in a hurry and to put into this way, ES3x is similar to pcwork's modded akg 701........
when i heard both of it and came to conclusion that is has the same characteristic as ES3x
if u wan to know the soundsignature, i will be happy let u try my akg ....

well too bad i aledi quiting my portable quest...
all of these rigs r back in sg......
1 moment of truth, however or watever u max out yur portable rig, it will not to perform as good as the fullsize cans with proper setup...trust me... i heard a lot of portable rigs over than 5k usd it still cannot beat a proper setup with a stock hd650 with a good dac and good amp that cost less than the portable rigs itself.....
