a new funny game called moolan =.=

quite interesting but ..... baka game
the first game that use the proximity sensor to works sweat.gif

Steer with the accelerometer by tilting your phone left or right, fuel your tank through shaking your phone. Accelerate by holding your palm over the new proximity sensor of the Nokia 5800 (S60 5th Ed). You can play wherever you are and whenever you want, but don’t be surprised by the wondering faces around you while watching you playing.

Moolan has been selected as the winner of the Forum Nokia Mobile Games University Competition 2009! shocking.gif

I have. I recorded a futsal match.
It was about 40 min and the size was close to 900mb. Set it to TV high quality.
Ooo, what theme are u using that time? Original theme? Theme effect turned ON?
Now I think, maybe it has something to do with the memory card then.

I didn't use the default theme that's for sure. I can't remember exactly what it was. The most was that the battery got a bit warm and went from full bar to 4. biggrin.gif

Hi guys, I'm having the same problem as some of you mentioned a few pages back: the other person I'm talking to on the phone cant hear me properly when i use speaker mode. They say I'm breaking up and sometimes cant hear me at all. Any solution for this?

It is zoomed, it's featured to record wide screen 16:9.. but we dont' actually have a lense that records wide screen.. not even most digi cam have it... so what nokia did is zoom in to reach a 16:9 untill the side is filled.. and crop the top and bottom out.. Imagine using zoom in ur LCD TV too you'll get the same result..

It's cool as it's pre-crop wide screen.. but i think NOKIA should also include an option to record in normal ratio so we can switch in between..
I dont quite understand. To get a widescreen recording, how come the lens needs to be zoomed in?
Cant they just leave it at normal range then do whatever cropping is needed?
Anyway, hope they fix it soon. Very hard to record anything like that. Have to stand back further to capture videos sad.gif

No le, i recorded around 40 min of video. It was at 1 am and the last time it was charged was at around 10 am the day before so some batt charge was used prior to the long video recording.

On Battery.. i think not really.. u see when i lock the pad.. after more than a minute(i've set it to 1 minutes) and on it back.. it is the same pic i hav.. so the slide doesn't process when the lock is on... actually when i'm using application more than 1 minute it doesn't change too... it only starts the interval when u actually SEE the bg pic...
I've also tried opening applications, open contacts and leave it there.. after the interval i go back to home.. it doesn't change...

if i'm not mistaken.. the INTERVAL is PAUSE when bg not visible..

On perfomance i think it will lag abit only when the pic switch.. but thats by miliseconds... compare that than having new bg pic every minute.. i can spare a few miliseconds...  whistling.gif

u can actually choose to record in normal screen. Just go to Options>Settings>Video quality>TV High Quality(Highest)

Imagine your camera video dimension... max is 640*480... but that is 4:3... to record in 16:9.. the max you can do is 640*360... so the wide screen recorder mode is cropping 60px off on both top and bottom... now becasue its' crop.. it will now fit into ur 5800... so you see like it's beeing zoom in... the zoom in is happening on the preview.. not the recording or the lens.. it's mainly just to show u the clip at it's maximum capable size...

it's easy to test if it's zoomed in or just cropping at the end recording.. just pay attention to the side of ur content. they should be the same distance from the center.. but the top and bottom has cut off some part... fix it to a possition to get the accurate result..

Between TV quality and widescreen, in the phone it seems that TV quality is the best(judging from the bar in settings and the description). However I see no difference in quality. The latter is in 4:3 mode and with widescreen it is in 16:9 mode. The description says for TV, "the best setting for long term use, best for viewing on TV, PC or handset". However, aspect ratio aside I see no diff. Why is the TV said to be the "best" setting?

I'm confused.
